Gender bias in Steemit ?

Hi Steemit , i made an observation that most of the posts by women get upvoted even thought they don't seem to be very interesting.I may be right or wrong with my opinion, any thoughts from my fellow Steemitians ?

Yeah, of course. You can look at Steem as a way for people to convert social capital (upvotes, popularity, good rep) into money.

Young cute (fertile) women naturally have extremely high social capital. This has always been this way in human society, nothing new. So it's quite easy for them to cash it in right away. Looking for some kind of equality in this area is stupid. This is the way it is.

I wrote a post about it yesterday which you might find inspiring:

"Why Girls Are Helping Us & Bill Gates Can Do Nothing About It..."

Nice post ,upvoted, alas iam no whale.

Thanks man. Personally I'm encouraged by seeing posts like yours, simple questions from users that other simple users answer. No hopes of striking it rich, no whales swimming around us or anything.

Gives me faith the platform has more uses than trading boobs for upvotes. Right now it's a bit of a wild-wild west, but once more categories and filtering systems drop, I think it will become even more addictive and interesting.
