Hello, hello and welcome to the first ever episode of my new show:

In the HOT SEAT tonight we have a very special guest, the one and only, the whale @berniesanders!!
Give him a round of applause and admiration! He'll need all the encouragement he can get!
Before we begin let me tell you what's this show about. It's an interview-style talk show hosted by ME, with steemers guests. The idea is to have a bit of FUN, to be a bit mischievous! and also to get to know the people a bit more, apart from the Steemit-side of them.
The questions will be pretty wild, crazy, unexpected...it's not called THE HOT SEAT for nothing :D
@berniesanders was courageous and generous to be the first guest and for that I want to thank him and...I hope we'll still be friend by the end of the interview :D

I loved this interview. Fun! I have heard a lot about @berniesanders. Now I know first hand that he's hilarious.
As for how can you make it better...More follow-up questions. Clearly you tried to get the real dirt about freedom, for instance. I would have liked to hear more in depth on any topic.

Oh @cristi, that's a tough one. Given I'm not a writer I would focus my efforts on curation and likely find a way to work with the many groups out there looking to help out those who need some more visibility. It's a tough call because we really have no clue what the next hard fork will bring...that's my main concern.

This is the question I would have asked Bernie (that he probably wouldn't be able to answer because then things would get even more annoying for him). You go around and vote on quite a wide variety of topics, likely because you want to help reward a variety of authors, but I am sure you don't actually enjoy all of the stuff you vote for. What I am curious about is, what is your favorite stuff to read about here on steemit (irrespective of your voting) or off steemit? Basically, what are some of your favorite things to read/know about? It would be nice to know a bit about ya as a person (well beyond porn and burritos). :)

I spend most of my time browsing #photography. I'm not even a good photographer, but there's a lot of great variety there and it's pretty hard to take a photo of Steemit content. I also support the weekly #steemitphotochallenge run by @jamtaylor (also an AMAZING photographer) to keep new content flowing in and it seems to be working so far! Other than that I generally just browse the "new" page and click on anything that looks interesting to me at the moment.
