A nine-year-old madrasa student was raped by a mosque's Imam in Savar's Ashulia. This incident happened on Sunday in the Dausaid area of Ashulia. The rape victim has been admitted to the 1-stop crisis center of Dhaka Medical College Hospital for health examination.
Confirming the incident, Ashulia Police Station OC Sheikh Rizaul Haque Dipu said that the student studied in a madrasa from the rented accommodation in Dosaid area with the parents. Besides, he used to read Maktab to Imam Abdul Al Mamun of the local Baitul Mamun Jami Mosque.
Rizaul Haque Dipu said, after the reading of Maktab on Sunday, the student was tactfully raped Imam Sahib in his own house. At the same time, the video of the incident on the mobile phone, if anyone told anyone, threatening to kill the body and kill him. Even after this the girl went to her house and told the matter to her parents. Ashulia Police Station visited the spot on the night after hearing the incident. Immediately after the incident the Imam ran away. Police operations are underway to arrest him. The police officer said the preparations for the case are underway.
