πŸ₯ My favorite steemit tools - what I like to use, to see what's going on

No art today..!?! Hehe, taking a break, its Sunday after all πŸ™‚

Ok, a small piece, to brighten up my writing. Beware of mild nudity! πŸ˜‡

Today I just want to share the tools and goodies I like and use to access all the info and which make getting around a little easier. Let me start with an alternative website to access steemit together with steemit.com, at busy.org

Just type https://busy.org/@yourusername

One great feature is, that you can filter posts by user and resteems. There are also a few other nice things, i.e. seeing all the upvotes you got, including the percentage used.

One of the first tools I came accross, to see followers is https://steem.makerwannabe.com/ made by @shaunmza
It gives a nice and quick overview of who follows you and who you follow, including mutes and unfollows.

Talking about followers, there is another really great page at http://www.steemspectacles.com/@yourusername created by @pilcrow and @sjennon.
It gives you a lot of detailed, in depth info about your followers.

A standard page, I always have open, when I'm on steemit is https://steemd.com/@username by @roadscape. You get a wealth of information about your (or any) account, including your Voting weight, Voting Power, Reputation, Age and you are notified of every activity going on.

https://www.steemnow.com/ by @penguinpablo is another one with info on your account, with detailed info on upvotes and rewards. There is also a link to Daily Steem Stats Report and it shows the current value of the average steem price.

Steem supply monitor at http://steem.supply/@yourusername by @dragosroua supplies some info about your account and gives an estimate of coming payouts. There is now also a tab for content and social insights

Still trying to figure out, to get notified, when someone mentions me. For now I use https://mentions.steemdata.com/find?q=@yourusername

I like emojis, since a big part of a conversation, normally carried by expression, tone and so on is lost in a written conversation. Unless you are a really good writer of course. I need the help of http://getemoji.com 😱 You can simply copy and paste πŸ™‚

The Image Viewer http://steemit.pics/IMGManager/index.php by @blueorgy is really awesome. You can view all the pictures a user has posted here on steemit. You can expand the preview of the image or go directly to the corresponding post!

The one, that really blows me away is https://steemworld.org/@yourusername by @steemchiller, which I just discovered. There is hardly any info on your account, which is not there. From voting power, to detailed analysis of the performance of your post to a list of activities, which can also be filtered in various ways.

@steemchiller also made a user scribt (I use with Firefox/Greasemonkey) to enhance your interface. Has some really neat features and you can save your favorite steemians, bookmark posts in a watchlist and filter a blog in a number of ways. Won't be able to go on without it πŸ™‚

There are a few other goodies I use occasionally, but these here are the ones I use the most. Hope you could find something you like. The only reason I mention the makers of the apps/tools is to give them credit, not to get their attention.

Please feel free to add your favorite apps/tools!

This is really good, very usefull. i will check them out. thank You!
What i can not find info about , is how do i make not visible the resteems on my page. Can you help me with that? someone wrote it earlier that there is an option for that. so i can keep "clean" my own page and only showing my art. i hope you don't mind me asking you. :-)

Well, I think the whole purpose of a resteem is to be seen. So, making it invisible for others, is like not resteeming it at all.

You can filter visibility for yourself, i.e. on someone elses blog, to find out, what is their own and what they resteemed. You can do it using busy.org or with the user script from steemchiller

Thank You very much Reinhard . i will look into it. maybe.
The more i think of it, it is not that important.
I think i will just keep my "page" about my art, and not bringing in other "stuff".
Thank You though ! :-)

Agnes, one of the good things about Steemit is the interaction with other users, resteeming others so they in turn will favor you as well. Go with the suggestion by Reinhard, using busy.org to get a better overview of just your own posts (or anybody else's posts, if you put in their user name). This what my page looks like using busy.org: https://busy.org/@thermoplastic
If you are that concerned about showing people only what you are posting, then put a link to your own busy.org page on all of your posts: https://busy.org/@agneslaczo

Thank You very much. i went over to that busy.org , but i am just not sure yet what is the difference... how to use it etc, why to use it :-D sorry, with time i guess. but i appreciate all of your help. i will get better at this!

Thanks a billion!

You are welcome :-)

Nice list! Some of these tools I wasn't familiar with myself. However, let me add something too: @armandocat made an extension for firefox and chrome with many of these additional features. Take a look at it here: https://steemit.com/steemdev/@armandocat/steemit-more-info-1-3-chrome-extension-firefox-extension

Great to hear from you, hope you are well! Yes, I saw that extension right after I made my post and am using it already. Thanks a lot for adding it here in your comment.

You're welcome, and thanks for checking. Yes, I've been around, but honestly, following people is not that easy, especially once you've amassed a nice crowd. My feed is full of stuff I find moderately interesting, and usually what ends up happening is I remember a fellow steemian (like you right now) and I catch up on their posts from the last seven days.

Super awesome post! I was using some of this tools already but you helped me become aware of many others. Thank you so much for sharing!

Glad this was useful for you. If you find another good tool, please let me know.

Sure!

There are some I use, Reinhard, others I have yet to explore. The http://getemoji.com I had in my arsenal already long before Steemit. 😜 - I think I found it on a web search looking for πŸ’© (for my Facebook comments 🀣)

Hahaha... well, your search worked out well! I would rather look for 🏍 though 🀣

I see you are discovering all these new tools! Thanks for the info , kind Sir.. I must save for future reference!

Glad you like them and hope they will be useful to you. I still keep finding new ones, so there is always enough around for everyone to find their own favorite.

I knew there were a lot of tools out there, but wow! Thanks for listing these!

Yes, quite an abundance out there, these are just some personal favorites..

This is fantastic,@reinhard-schmid! Thanks so much for posting it!

Cordial thanks. Glad you like my list πŸ˜€

woow, you did a huge research, thanks for all info, interesting staff can be found, but it takes time to go trough all of them.

To me its fun πŸ™‚

Thanks for the tool list! I'll "play" with it later... :)

By the way, lovely image of yours in the beginning!

Thank you πŸ™‚
