Late September we found out my dad has liver cancer. Eight weeks ago MD Anderson told him he had two or less weeks to live. He is treating at St. Luke's in Houston. I have not been able to work much since I've been in Houston and I live in El Paso. I find myself saying the serenity prayer several times a day and I feel that it helps (and steemit does too:) ). If you find yourself going through a rough patch in life you might want to give it a try. Cheers!

I was going through your feed today and came upon this. My dad passed a couple years ago. All you can do is be with him, be a friend, help him and stay by his side and leave it in God's hands.

My mom passed last year, and I found that it is terrible times like these that we see the most miracles. Keep your faith in God and he will bring you peace and strength to get through this. I will pray for your family also!
