I'm just reaching out to the steemit community.
Is there a reliable and secure up vote bot out there that I can depend on. I have so far, about a dozen authors that I follow and up vote regularly. I am currently following 2230 other authors. I don't have time to check all those I follow and would like to up vote more, but being a store owner that is open 7 days a week, as well as other community involvements I don't have time to sit at my computer or phone watching for posts to up vote. I have tried steem up vote bot and steem automated. Steem up vote bot didn't do anything and steem automated worked for a short period of time, but now is not working at all; and there is no contact info. Are there any up vote bots that are safe and reliable?

Agree.. try Steemauto. Very handy if you don't want to forget anyone or time to visit daily.

I looked into steemauto and it had a bold red warning to not use it if I don't fully understand it and how it works.

SteemAuto Is a very usefull website and works pretty well!
The login is with SteemConnect, just your regular steem account. If that worked, you can go to a page called "Fanbase" and their you can join people's fanbases. This means you would upvote all the articles they post if that is what you are looking for. You can also set up a maximum of posts from that author you want to upvote daily, a time delay between the posting and your upvote etc.

Just an update. I got into and am using steemauto. Seems to be working well. There was a short down time the other day, but all is well now. Thanks again for the offer to help. Your encouragement and reassurance was what I needed.
