SteemLand - Why do you have a blog ?

Small chapter...

In the last 2 days , i kept bumping, while reading steemit, into posts like "what to write about" , "for whom you write" , "how to catch a whale" , "write for votes" nooo , wait "write for the whales", but waaait "this is how u write for money"...I wonder if i am the only one who sees how wrong this is ? 

 Why do i write?? For ME, MYSELF and I . The only reason you should write anything is for yourself first. Any other reason comes second...

This is your blog, this should be something you start , for fun and because it feels good to you...you  feel good after seeing what came out from the tips of your fingers. Because it feels good to see your blog full with things you like and thoughts you had, because it should make you feel happy that there is a place where you can put whatever you want and it will be there...waiting for you to re-read them, or for others to read them.

A lot of people start writing blogs, because they want a place where they can share whatever it's in their mind, whatever they feel passionate about. They write because it's helping them express some things that otherwise they wouldn't. 

When i started writing here, i did it because it was something fun to do, it was something exciting and new and i wanted to be part of it. I wanted to be an active witness in everything and help this new platform grow with whatever i can. I came here without any expectations, or claims, or rights to anything.

And i saw and witness amazing things, and read amazing stories about amazing people...this things made me want to know more, learn more and do more. 

However, lately, i saw a lot of envy and greed, and that made me frustrated..and sad. I saw people complaining and whining about this and that and the other one...and why ? Because of money?

 You were writing your own blog somewhere else and you never got this much attention..and now u are complaining because people actually read , (and trust me just because they don't vote does not mean they don't read) but you don't get votes and money? 

How could u treat this wonderful thing so bad? How can you bring this much negativity to such a positive thing? How ?

Here you have an amazing thing..an amazing platform, where you can share whatever you want, AND YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A USER BASE THAT READS WHAT YOU ARE WRITING ...and you have the nerve to complain about it?

So..why don't you start posting for yourself ? Why don't you start writing because you like it? How about you stop thinking about the god damn $$ and focus on WRITING FOR YOURSELF  (like you did in the past with every other social media platform). 

Damn it!! There is so much more to say about this...but i am at work...and the phone is ringing...and the files are waiting..and i think i made my point...i hope...
