Is Steemit Immune From Hot Girl Privelege?

Guys Are Stupid

Okay so the big question of this post is this. Is Steemit immune to the "hot girl privelege?"

I'm new on here, been on here about a week. I've seen a lot of Steemians talk about the "hot girl era" I guess this site for a short while had some hot girls comming on here throwing on Steemit shirt, showing some cleavage and making $40,000 per post.

Now this is not different from any other social media platform. A hot girl in a pair of yoga pants is gonna get traffic.

Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy a hot girl and a nice set of boobies as much as the next guy, but should simply showing your boobs be rewarded with tens of thousands of Dollars? I'm gonna let you guys in on a big secret. There's no shortage of titties on the internet, and for FREE as well, just type the word into Google and there's more than you could ever want to look at. And there's these things called strip clubs where for a couple Dollars you can actually see them up close and in person. And if you're willing to shell out a bit more there's these places called Brothels or a site called Backpage where for a few more Dollars you'll even be able to touch them, and motorboat them or whatever you wanna do with them.

I guess my point is this. Should we take Steem away from some really creative people on here spending a lot of time and energy into their content and give it to someone who simply takes a selfie?

I just saw a post earlier about someone who had gone on vacation and was going to be posting some "sexy photos". The post had already gotten $60 which I know isn't huge but I'm sure it will continue to grow and as the photos get racier I'm sure the earnings will also grow.

Now personally I view Reddit and Redditors as being a bit more intelligent and creative than the rest of the internet and in my brief time on Steemit I view Steemians even higher than Redditors. Not really sure how to describe what I mean but basically users of this site seem to be intelligent, on the cutting edge of technology and trends, etc.

I guess I thought if any site or platform was immune to "hot girl privelege" it would be this one.

I left what I thought was kind of a funny comment on one of the posts. I said "stupid me, here I am trying to create and post quality content, who knew all I had to do was post some titties."

Anyhow, just curious from you guys who have been on here and a bit more established on here. Do you think this site is immune to this type of stuff or are men, myself included just stupid? Also, I wasn't on here for it but curious to hear more about the "hot girl era" of Steemit.

I agree

After reading this and after reading your comments under my photos I suggest you to edit your title and type: rosik post. Ahah (hey I'm joking, before you attack me!)

Ha you found me lol. Seriously nothing against you and I wasn't trying to call anyone out. I've seen several Steemians commenting on "hot girls" who made a killing in earlier days on Steemit. I've never seen your name mentioned everyone refers to "the makeup girl" not really sure who that is honestly.

I'm not really one to hate on anyone more power to you, anyone who hates is just jealous they aren't doing the same thing themselves which my case is no different, if I was a chick and I had a body like yours I'd be milking it as well.

I do to some extent however think its funny/interesting/unfair, not really sure how I feel that a hot girl with big boobs who plays the guitar and sings moderately well is going to have millions of more views and subs than a really talented male guitarist or even less good looking female guitarist who's guitar skills and singing abilities are equal.

I didn't really examine your post history or anything like that but I will give you some credit that you included a bit of a writeup rather than just posting a picture and nothing else.

Honestly keep it up because your doing good on here, not trying to attack anyone or hate anyone, just whining a little and offering a bit of commentary on the nature of dudes.

P.S. when he writes about a post of vacation... it's mine so I'm taking my rights! 😎

I'm heading to Negril, Jamaica later this summer. As soon as I throw up a post of my whang out with two coconuts underneath you can have at me :) unless you'd like to join me on the beach ;) jk

By the way how do you use emoticons?

"I view Reddit and Redditors as being a bit more intelligent and creative than the rest of the internet and in my brief time on Steemit I view Steemians even higher than Redditors."

lol Breaking Bad is awesome - Reddit was cool at first but now it's full of trolls - and I'm new around here but I like Steemit more each day :)

It is partially immune. But as men our primal urge to enjoy pleasures of the flesh with beautiful women will over power us and before we know it the upvote button has been clicked.

Steemians are on a higher intelligence level overall compared to other platforms I would say but the pretty girl's do get us sometimes.

A couple examples where the pretty girl situation didn't completely overpower the platform is @mrs.steemit and @soldier They have been apart of the community pretty much as long as I have and they are friends with @sirwinchester who has had great success here. The two ladies are smoking hot but their earnings in a lot of ways have been similar to mine in a lot of respects. They have put up some solid stuff but didn't have overwhelming success in comparison to others who were putting in a similar level of effort and were equally interesting in a different way.

I'm not sure why the makeup girl was initially rewarded so heavily. And it didn't make sense that she didn't continue to post more and use it as a launch pad to become a full time content creator.

I'm not sure anywhere on the internet is immune to "hot girl privilege". I always try to act high and mighty and say I'm not supporting that but show me a picture of a hot girl on a post and I'm clicking on it to check it out before I even realize what's happening. It's just the way of the world. Tits sell.

haha, I'll have to admit, I'm a bit of a hypcrite as I did click the link and I actually followed the user.

That said I did have enough self restraint to stop myself from upvoting it.

On a more serious note boobs are a dime a dozen. As soon as my gf gets home if I wanted to I could look at some. A female friend of ours just got implants the other week and when I see her this weekend I'm sure she'll show us and probably even let us touch them....I'm pretty excited about this weekend lol.

Seriously though you could go on backpage and go play with a set for about $80 so why are we giving tens of thousands to someone who simply shows them. At least put some effort into it, draw a Steemit logo on them, put on a little puppet show and have them talk to each other, do something.

Personally I want to reserve my points or upvotes or whatever for someone who's actually trying to further this platform and create real content. Otherwise I may as well just go on Craigslist, hire a hot girl to let me take pics of her boobs and post away and rake in thousands lol.

Of you course you clicked on it. I agree with everything you said and I don't upvote these kind of posts but a lot of people will and it's depressing. Definitely a lot easier for them to get followers. Shit I might go back and follow her too. Then go home and get it for free.

Besides, what exactly is preventing someone from creating a hot girl account that is false? There is no process to verify that a member really is posting "her" own pictures. Anyone could come, pose as a hot chick, and cash in.

Chicks will always have this advantage my friend, not mater what platform you're on... hell most of the time they aren't even really chicks. It's just some neck bearded basement dweller in his moms basement posting random chick pics.

Haha, I have to admit with many of my affiliate marketing hustles my social media persona is that of a girl.

Just don't upvote the articles that represent the things you just described, that should work. There's a reason there are powerful people on this platform :)

This post came at the perfect time for me. My friend just spent the whole evening going around Twitch showing me all of the girls he wants to bang. I saw some really horrible gaming but a lot of money being thrown around.

Sigh, hot girl priviledge. It makes me so mad.

Twitch, Youtube, Steemit and sites like this should actually tax hot girls and then give out that money to the people who are struggling.

Yeah I hear in the gaming community they get a lot of girls who aren't serious gamers but who get all the views and all the money.

Kind of a funny thing about this post. So while I didn't wanna call anyone out the girl who I was sorta referring to saw my post and commented, she was actually really nice about it and I have to admit I'm kind of a hypocrite because I followed her and looked through all her posts and actually quite enjoyed them lol.

That said here's just something that illustrates this kinda double standard and advantage girls have. So one of her posts is basically her legs spread with a very wet pair of shorts on. She says I just got done using my favorite sex toy and basically she's all wet.

Now I don't recall off the top of my head how much money it made but I wanna say at least $50. Now if I went around my house humping pillows and then took a picture of my jizz, do you think people would be upvoting me and giving me money or calling me a creep and getting me banned from the site?

Hot girls man. Can't live with em, can't live without em lol

You give such a refreshing point of view on such controversial topics and your writing style is an inspiration, really. Your comment got me thinking about sexism in general and I decided to make my daily post on the subject.

Am I wrong, or can you still view the titties and not upvote or comment? You know, just secretly admiring them, like we always do before someone walks in. Anyone care to start a pact with me to reduce the "hot girl privilage"? I'm thinking that will get them iritated and posting even more :)

totally agree man! got a new supporter of your blog just for this! resteemed+upvoted

You are right and this shit will have to stop for better content which can educate people ..

I have no problem saying that it will affect me. pretty women are the best. :) but all women are great so I will follow them all.
