I do not know how relevant you will find this, since you mention illiterate... Though slightly different, but about creativity, I do also want to 'open up' new spaces of thought, imagination and creativity. Your use of illiterate, voice / voices and writing... One of my favourite authors of all time F. Scott Fitzgerald, you may have heard of him ;) was a terrible speller and had lots of typos in his manuscripts... "After reading a typo-filled version of “This Side of Paradise,” literary critic Edmund Wilson—a classmate of Fitzgerald’s during his Princeton days—declared it “one of the most illiterate books of any merit ever published…full of English words misused with the most reckless abandon.” So what does that say ? I think many people really do not 'understand' creativity, or talent, well what I would call creativity and talent, then that is a whole other minefield... Then I was somewhat bemused when I read recently that F. Scott Fitzgerald never won one award for his writing, which I have been reading since I was 12 or 14... Then that might well say something about awards as well... The internet should open up the world to voices not lose them in search engine ratings and paid for placement.... I should also say that the idea of steemit being part of a blockchain, so they can not be erased is a brilliant idea as long as it works as it should...
