There are a few options that are like twitter retweets and facebook comments, but i can't react to posts, the only way to "leave a like" is promoting people?

    you can reply (reply button), or upvote in front of to the dollar sign. You will get it! reacting to people is nice, you will get interaction and find a community or friends
