Can Reputation be cheated on Steemit?

I just saw in a list of posts such post:

Please note that the reputation of the author, in brackets, is 11.

Inside post it is 1.

How can it be?

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    It's a bug with steemit. People with a reputation of (1) are displayed as (11) sometimes. Probably will get fixed soonish.

      • It's mostly new users, that haven't earned or lost fame yet, who are displayed as (11). And their actual influence is still just a (1). So don't worry about it, it's just cosmetics, and will probably be fixes, when more important stuff have been dealt with. ^_^
