Ever been in a situation where a loved one needs your help and the best of help you can render is to standby while the person goes through his healing process?

Ever been in a situation where you were so cornered and overwhelmed and the least you could do was just to let it all out through your tears?

Ever been in a situation where those who ought to salvage the situation are creating more problems for you to solve?

If you have never been there, then be rest assured that your season will come, but be sure to know that you will overcome and become better for it.

The past three weeks were so challenging that at some point I had to let it out through both anger and tears, but I sure came out of the steam more refined and stronger.
Every one at some point will experience what is called “the night season”, but what determines your survival to see the dawn of the day is your perspective towards the situation you are facing.

Perception is everything as it determines to a large extent if you will come out of that situation Better or Bitter.

So, whenever you find yourself in such situations that seem to be difficult at the moment ensure to:

1. Build Capacity
Most times we don’t seem to anticipate uncertainties, hence when we are suddenly faced with it, we have a small window to process our actions and inactions. However, it is important we adapt swiftly and begin to process thoughts faster. Atimes we cannot do this alone and this is where you need to quickly seek opinions of good friends if you have one.

Being a lone ranger doesn’t help anyone. Over the years I learnt so quickly to have committed and trust worthy friends and it paid off and Is still paying off. Have people around you that you have come to know what impact they can make in any and every aspect of you life. I have friends that I trust their judgements on finance, health and those that will answer promptly at my call even at odd times.

2. Be responsible
In times of difficulties someone has to step in to be responsible and take responsibilities for others in the main time. I see myself to be quite detailed and possess the ability to multitask. Hence, it paid off over the past three weeks. I could be absent from a place but can envisage the probability of somethings happening where I am needed. I just pick my phone and make necessary calls to address such things while I attend to others. Being responsible means people around are looking up to you and therefore you have little room for errors or mistakes. So braze up and take that place.

3. Learn through the process
Every Set Back is a Set Up for a Come Back is a statement I heard some years back. Life’s questions come because they seek answers, and when yours comes, you’ve got to provide the answers because your life may depend on it. Challenges come to prove you and not break you. So whenever you are faced with one, ensure you face it with all boldness. At every point you face a situation just ensure you do not take anything for granted as some challenges may repeat itself. Hence you need to apply your heart to learn all that you need to learn in order to become better prepared for such recurrence. However, you may need to learn effectively so you can proffer some level of advice to anyone around you that may also be found in such a situation in later days.

The best of precious treasures are subjected to fire heating in order to get the desired outcome.
Whenever the steams of life tend to want to shake you, stand strong and be bold and motivate yourself in every way you can because you are coming out stronger and better for it.

If I survived the steam, you sure can too.
