I'm Still Getting My Head Around Steemit After 6 Weeks Of Posting- My Advice Is Stick With It

Ok so 6 months ago my friend @michelle.gent, recommended Steemit to me. I have known her a good number of years, and trust her judgement completely, so much so that she is also going to be the editor for my books when ready for publication. However i couldn't get my head around the whole Steemit thing, so when i signed up in September i did nothing until 6 weeks ago.

I am mentioning this because i have seen her tagged a few times recently and feel i "owe her one". I love writing, but i am dyslexic and i am not knowledgeable with publishing and she has helped me alot with my confidence in these areas, also helping me gain a back bone. Especially seeing as i am a bit of a soft sap!

Now you will have seen from my blogs that i have been updating as i have gone along but i am learning everyday about technological stuff, as i'm by far no social media expert.

Today i have been learning about tagging, and how to tag properly. It blows my mind, i still haven't got my head around upvoting or curation yet. I think i'm still a bit medieval.

The point is despite my lack of knowledge 3 massive things have come out of the last week.

1) I am getting so much more feedback than ever before.

2) I have actually looked in my personal back account and found earnings that have been desposited, physical earnings that i need to put on my self assessment! (I melted my brain working out how to do it!)

3) I've developed an exciting process for my story writing, as well as blogging about anything and everything i want.

Thanks @michelle.gent i owe you a pint.

Fantastic to know you plan to stick around. This place is pretty awesome and most of the people I have come across have been delightful to get to know.

Please share your number 3) "exciting process" - for writing & blogging. Curious minds would love to know! ;^)

Ahhh yes....ok will tell all tomorrow! Thankyou :-)

Slight correction, you left out a period: @michelle.gent

Sorry i don't understand? :-)

@fulltimegeek means you left out the full stop in tagging my name - but you did get the tag for the posts right!

You owe me nothing, chick, being your friend is enough for me <3
Oh and you don't have to declare earnings until you draw it out of this platform xx

Ahhh ok....i'll learn! Thanks for the heads up @fulltimegeek. I did draw out so i could see how it works and it does, so my initial medieval pessimism was wrong.

lol you're not medieval, you've actually drawn some cash out! I haven't taken that step yet! Lol

It took me over 3 hours to figure out how to do it and then you have to wait for it to deposit. Its not easy lol
