Elena Gilbert was the Protagonist of the Story. She was once a human but turns into a vampire during a car accident when she chooses Matt (Childhood Friend) to be saved on a drowning Car. She has two Best Friends named Bonnie Bennet which is a Witch and Caroline Forbes which is once a human but turns into a vampire. His Brother Jeremy Gilbert was a vampire a hunter and the only member left in her Family.
During first season, Elena was dating Stefan Salvatore (Doppelganger of Silas) but now she was involved by the brother of Stefan named Damon Salvatore. Elena was also a doppelganger of Amara. According to Qitsiyah (a witch), Elena and Stefan were destined to each other but the overcoming of Damon and Elena was very Strong.
I love Elena Gilbert specially when she turns off her humanity. You should start watching this series I'm sure you will love the movie also Nina Dobrev a.k.a Elena Gilbert has a Voluptuous body that you should not miss. That's all and Enjoy watching.
