Will Steemit subvert, Quora, even Facebook?

Steemit is a social media platform based on block chain (blockchain) and can also get the return of Steem.
Compared to other social platforms, the output of a high quality writer can get a huge profit (someone has got tens of thousands of dollars in virtual currency).
Now Steemit users are growing crazily and will become a new generation of social platforms that subvert known, Quora, and even Facebook? Or is it a new type of fraud?
