How I promote my steemit posts

Premise:

At first, I have to say that thanks to Steemit I'm daily and constantly writing  contents in English, that is the native language of many of my customers and followers out of here.

In the time, I've built a significant (for me ^_^ ) numbers of active followers on the social media where I usually share my contents: Twitter, Instagram and my page on Facebook. My followers out of Steemit (and my customers ^_^ ) are predominantly women, 30-60 years aged, interested in creative works/art/illustrations. I don't know if anyone of my followers are interested on cryptocurriencies, if yes, it's only a small niche.

How can I engaged them to enjoy Steemit?

I can't post contents about the cryptocurrencies because it's out of my usually "style" and maybe my followers had find the posts about these "strange, intangible coins" very boring. Sorry, maybe you can't understand, but my priority out of here are my customers ^_^

So, How can I engaged them?

Simply sharing some posts about life, creativity, art, with a double purpose:

1. give me the opportunity to represent myself to my customers using my blog on Steemit and my contents in English

2. give to my followers the opportunity to know Steemit and the potentiality of this platform, without talking directly about the cryptocurrencies. Cool! My followers out of here will be curious about the numbers signed as payout at the bottom of every post,  so I look forward the human nature ;)

Where can I share my contents between other steemians?

After I shared my posts on twitter and on my page on facebook, I use to share my contents on some Steemit channels, as you can see in the following list:

- the steemit chat :  you have to search the channels "promotion", "postpromotion", "post-promotion-norules", "post-and-run" and others. Alert: DON'T promote your posts on the channels where you can't!

- the groups on facebook here and here

And you? Have you some tips on how to/where share the steemit posts in & out the community?

Excellent ideas; some of which I can immediately use on @Steemit itself.

Thanks so much for your words, @nigelmarkdias ^_^

I'm trying to improve my use of social media. Most of my contents on Steemit is what I've created specifically for Steemit so I don't tend to post on other social media sites. Recently I've been trying to change that and I need to try to be more effective at linking back to my Steemit blog posts from elsewhere.

I share on my other social only the posts where I talk about my artworks or life and I see that after I shared the link of them on my fb page or on my twitter profile, the views grow up (not the upvotes, but I'm working for the future ^_^)

I have been thinking about posting my poems on Facebook in some groups but I have not done it yet. How is the feedback you get in those fb groups you mentioned?

The steemit group on fb that I found are a fast way to promote the steemit posts, sometimes I have feedbacks directly on fb (using the "like") and so I know that someone use this channel, but I don't know the real "impact" on the views, because I use some different ways (fb, chat and twitter) at the same moment. I'm studying about it ^_^

I am still trying to decide where Steemit "fits" into my various ventures.

Originally, it was just a place to start social blogging again, which is something I did a long time ago and really enjoyed. Since then, I have discovered that this community is about a lot more than just writing content... now I find myself looking at the question of whether to use Steemit to promote my content, or use my content to promote Steemit, or whether to create a new account purely for art and collectibles... because I know how to attract visitors to niche content.

Decisions, decisions...

I've been posting here and use IFTTT to share the feed to FB and Twitter automatically. Unfortunately on FB, if you're not that active your stuff stops showing up on people's feed so I've been getting active there again. I've also been incorportating my avatar with the Steemit logo on my YouTube channel. I'm still experimenting with hashtags and I need to update my LinkedIn profile. I also enjoy using SnapChat and try to remember to include my Steemit address at the end of my snaps. That doesn't always happen.

Thanks @merej99 ! In the past I used IFTTT to share the content of my old blog and from my shop on Etsy, but now I'm trying to do it manually, so I can add some personalize comments when I share my contents ;) I have a linkedin profile, but I've never used (but I'll try ^^). Sometimes I use Pinterest and StumbleUpon too ^^
