Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 22/1/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Jan 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on December 17th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also being tired from the previous early shifts and the late night from seeing friends. The past 4 nights however are still a later time than what I would want to be asleep by as I feel still too tired not to nap during the day. When I did try to sleep there was no difficulty, I think I was just too tired to let anything disturb me. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm which is what I want and needed. I was not awoken by our "cat alarm clock" he was in but remained quiet until the morning, it's definitely a bit of a problem that he often wakes me during the night especially since having these very early morning shifts. Most mornings before I started doing the early morning shifts I was resting past the alarm, this was due to not going to sleep early enough or the cold making getting out of bed a struggle. For the weather this morning it was dark, the sky was mostly clear, the sun was yet to fully rise, temperature wise it was cold from the start, I think I'm getting up between heating sessions which is annoying because that means I wake-up when it's beginning to get colder. It was a early start for me not by choice but because I had to be in work very soon, and so like this there was no time for chores or anything else. I done what I could, and with my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it was icy cold again, traffic was busy but less compared to other days. When I got to work it was dark and I could see there was someone working but couldn't recognise the silhouette. Strangely it was my boss, and I say strangely because he is normally easy to recognise but it seemed he may have lost some weight since being on holiday. I went to him and asked him if he needed help with anything, I was very surprised he said no and told me everything was ready for me to start work. Since my boss had already strangely started earlier this forced me also to start early, I began with the first task which was less compared to previous days. Because of the early start and it being less work I was done with task 1 with still time left to spare, so I moved on to task 2 because usually I go over the limit and it's about the same amount of work from those previous days. Task 2 went just over the time and so I was not worried about task 3, but I guess I should of been! So I asked my boss to set up task 3 which as I walked into the office he was pulling silly faces to he's phone. Again proof that these people often sit around in their office most of the day at leisure while we run around like idiots for them. Regardless it was strange that when I asked about task 3 he seemed a bit confused, I'm not sure if it's because I caught him in a bad moment or that task 3 isn't actually necessary daily but the other superiors have been forcing me to do it. Still I found it interesting that he took he's time to teach me how to get task 3 set-up without the need of the superiors. I'm thankful for this and was going to eventually ask anyway when I was more comfortable getting everything else done, however I couldn't help but wonder why he decided so quickly to teach me. Was it so I don't walk in on him doing anymore silly stuff on he's phone or so that I generally know. Looking over task 3 I was not happy, it ruined my morning because there was a lot of it, this was making me think it's likely nobody bothered yesterday with it, and so I have all the extra. Over it's due time and stressed I eventually got it done only to have to hurry with one of the weekly tasks set for me because the idiots think it's right that I get one every morning now, while ignoring all the other people who work here. This wouldn't be a problem on most days but sadly because I have a lot of tasks to get done on the weekly sheet I have to fight for any extra spare minutes I can get to try and get all those completed too, which 1 of them I'm still delayed on. It was not easy but I managed to get todays weekly task completed before my shift was finished, but honestly it's a strain for peanuts. But yet they expect you to just create miracles out of thin air. I think it's all still part of my punishment for being unwell on the last day I done the extra work and so being a little slower, petty it's now 3 weeks later and these sad people are making sure I'm getting all the crap for it. While these idiotic superiors are fine to make up all their own lame excuses without any questions being asked. Which is why I was honestly tempted... to write a complaint note about the "superiors" saying they are taking too long with certain tasks, to see how they like some of their own medicine after they done it to me. I was being over worked this shift for their crumbs and was looking forward to leaving, thankfully it came to that time for me to escape work😁. On the way home it remained cloudy but brighter, it had turned very icy compared to the morning. Once I got home I had to get started with some chores before meeting with friends online later. I wasn't too surprised considering how I was feeling this morning that between that I needed to take a nap, it was not for long, probably 1 hour or less I was struggling to actually sleep and then shouting woke me up. I continued with doing a few more things until it was time to meet with friends online. They all showed up progress seemed like it was a lot but it wasn't but we have to remember I'm not on for as long anymore. For the quick work-outs 57 days since my last one but it's going to have to keep waiting longer because of what I think is the flu continually trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I checked-in with my father, and then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Steemit Awards arrived a little late but winners were announced, I have a link to the post on this post below. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
