Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 22/8/2022.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 5 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 22/8/2022.

Hope you been enjoying the so called holidaying month of August it's indeed been good weather for it I admit and so supposedly a happier time after the crippling covid pandemic. But many can't agree because there is still a war going on it's a terrible moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall at the boarder. They instead strike fear, call treats and cast sadness into the lives of many with this war.. a war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Best keep an eye on those politicians and refuse war at all costs as tension towards America gets worse. As for Steem sites like steemd.com and steemnow.com are not fully functional. Are these sites in the hands of the SteemitTeam?❓ If anybody as any information on these sites let me know in the comments to win a upvote from me. I think it would be useful if the Steemit Team could warn us of such events when the site goes down, to keep us informed on the situation in future, perhaps have someone appointed to give us that feedback as these problems can cause confusion or money loss for both investors and the general value of the Steem coin.

As for crypto Steem took a big fall because of the bitcoin downwave from 60k, this sadly initially took down the value of SBD's. That was expected but it's been still been mostly holding around that important $3 mark. What we have had lately is all that cheap Steem became available which as been catching my attention and out there for grabs and so I continue to look this as another situation for opportunity. I'd say if your looking to get more Steem this might still just be the best time for doing so. And that's what I like about Steem its been still offering so much opportunity for investors. In one way I wanted things to remain on the lower scale for a bit longer before another bullrun. Like this it could offer some amazing opportunities for some small ROI's, however there's no doubt it's already been going upwards. People have been taking up these opportunities quicker than I expected, which is a shame as the little guys struggle to get their slice of the pie. Still the end intensions of this trading will be to get a bit more Steem. The weather in August was initially not as hot compared to July, this was until we experienced our 2nd proper heatwave. At night it seemed strangely more muggy then during the day, I initially thought it was just me who felt this way but other people I spoke with have also said the same. We had the downpour that most people desperately wanted and boy did it come down causing many floods, however apart from that there hasn't been anymore rain. As for today I was in work for the late shift and to some it was noticed that it had been a while as they thought it was strange I was in so late. Late enough that if lucky I would of missed some of the extra that comes in later and what would make it even better is if the work started earlier. Well I'm not sure if it arrived earlier or not but I was please with how much of it there was and how much was already done. Sure I was left I think with some of the crappier parts to finish but at least it didn't have to madly rush to get it completed. They sent the fat guy again this time doing some quality checks, I knew he was doing some on me and again it seems like he was making up an excuse to tell me about 1 tiny error that was made. I told him it was fine and if he does spot something he does usually suppose to tell me, but it's like he makes things up for why he needs to tell me which is kind of strange.

Yesterday I spent mostly the whole day there it didn't help that as I walked in I was both surprised and disappointed to see a particular superior who as just returned from her holiday, shame as it was a more relaxed atmosphere when she was away. Not by much still nothing can be compared to when my old boss was still here that guy was a complete drain to the company. Later coming up towards the end of they shift they sent again the fat guy who I would describe as the most recent acting superior. He came to me using the same excuse as last time that someone as not been filling out the paperwork correctly and demanded that he must see mine. I'm pretty sure this whole thing is a lie because I have realized that this check only seems to happen when that particular superior who returned from her holiday is in. I mean my goodness it was only her first day back and seems one of her main priorities is too see if I filled out that paper work correctly. I'm also baffled as to why send the fat guy to check over it nearly before leaving time when basically they can trace it up at anytime they want. Still confused by my arrival thinking many were thinking I was just about to leave, apparently this was because some of the work that I usually do had already been done. For the staff in at the time this was a bit of a mystery but after I considered which staff were already in I didn't feel like it this was much of a mystery at all... A few hours later into the shift I noticed this unpleasant smell, and these days it's normally the smell of burning everyday but rather this time I was now plagued with the smell of sewage. I mean I rather have the smell of burning but not to the point that it effects your health I'm just glad this didn't last for the rest of the shift as I still had a few hours to go but thankfully the smell left after around 40 minutes. The random audit man arrived who honestly reminded me of a pirate from the way he was dressed. Think he could of tried to look a little more professional if you ask me as he's suppose to be all about standards but heck it's always so ironic isn't it. These people who audit have habit of cornering you and asking you questions to make sure you know your stuff and in most cases if only one thing is said wrong "that's it!" a instant fail. I feel this is kind of ridiculous as some things are really not that important. I normally try to avoid these people of course when they show up as in some instances your treated like scum for letting the team "the superiors" down. I also find these people to be a nuisance because they often just show up whenever they feel like it which means it leaves us without enough staff to cover all the work as the superior's all go off to cater from the unwanted visitor. I know that the showing up without announcement part is to make sure we are always ready but it means the business generally suffers for it when they do show up which makes no sense at all. Still we failed the audit and it had nothing to do with me, however unlike the last visit I managed this time to completely avoid the pirate. I did however learn and found rather funny that after all that so called work to hire the new guy he's already dropped out. This is because he found something in which he feels is more aligned with he's interests plus I don't blame the guy for running the heck out of here as fast as possible.

The 2nd new arrival began he's training, the first guy I mentioned earlier reminded me of the man who robbed me as they both had the same hair style and now this guy as a very typical "drug dealer in a hoodie" kind of look to him and so far hasn't said much. So let's hope he's personality turns out to be different, apparently he is struggling but honestly what do they expect he's only been here for like a week. These days they are incredibly brutal on the new people and they wonder why people don't enjoy working under them in such a environment. The other night when I left work my colleagues were glad that a bit of rain started falling but moments later it started to get worse. I went to do some shopping and after moving on the the next shop the scene was insane with many people coming out the shops and being "trapped" by downpour of rain. To make matters worse the downpour was so much that two rivers started forming and was dividing up the car park. There were even a few roads completely flooded, anybody walking there would need their wellies on if they wanted to avoid getting soaked.

When I was last off work and out eating with one of my friends for a minute I thought we were going to be fighting for our lives only moments later. As we ate we both noticed a man walking in our general direction, he was wearing a balaclava👤! I thought he was going to walk nearby and past us, but my friend was the one who noticed that he was actually heading directly towards us. My friend was unfortunately correct on this as he walked right up to our table and started to ask us if any of us smoked? It was at this moment I thought we were going to get robbed or attacked as it's often a distraction tactic when engaging in conversation which is why I was getting ready to get hold of the glassed bottle on our table and use it against him. Luckily it seemed that for whatever reason he was just interested on whether or not we smoked. My friend later explained to me that this guy was probably going to try and sell us something illegal if we had said yes to the smoking question. It seems that may of indeed been the case but honestly it's frustrating that you can't go anywhere around here without random people coming up to you wearing clothing that usually indicates they are about to rob or stab someone, but yet nobody seems to care. I mean seriously why do some people think it's ok to walk about looking like bank robbers and murderers yet the police seem to somehow have difficulty identifying these people. It's so ridiculously obvious a crime is very likely about to be committed. I mean if policed were alerted and they searched the guy there is no doubt that they would of either found at least a weapon or illegal substances which can all lead to being arrested. Anybody who is walking around like that people should be reporting them as suspicious behaviour as soon as they even set foot outside their own house, this needs to be done before someone gets hurt.. and not after..
