Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 23/8/2021.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for now over 4 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average daily STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 23/8/2021.

Here we are in August supposedly the time of year everybody goes on holiday and the nicest weather is set upon us. And so while we get rain every other day I can't deny that it's mostly remained warm, there were a few exceptions but hopefully no more freak rain downpours. Instead it's been muggy, perhaps this is what is making me feel extra tired. Anyway since one of my superiors as left the company I have worked less volatile shifts and I can't even express how much it's improved many things for me. But I felt this was coming to it's end as shifts began getting more volatile, instead it turned out to be the end of something much more. I mentioned a few things these pasts weeks like a %25 cut to our workload, notices of too many people working within the company, less people turning up for work, cut on eligible hours etc. You can probably already see where all this is going.. my boss called me the other morning, I expected to hear some boring speech about company values but instead I was shocked to hear that he announced that our company was closing 😱!! yikes! He did however say that they are going to try and find "some of us" work. But obviously there is no guarantee that any of us can find employment elsewhere within the company. Hearing the news at first I felt uneased but soon after I was feeling mostly excited to what could come next. I don't think it's fully sunk in yet, this could either be a good thing or a complete disaster going forward. I continue to plan my next move and options, wont deny it's a bummer in a big way as it ruins many plans as not knowing what your future holds. But saying that there as been some news today of possible positions near by me but this is still way too early as I believe we continue working until end of November. Today I was in work and soon as I got in a colleague told me my boss wanted me to take over right away because my boss had a meeting to attend. I didn't mind this as it means I can get on straight with my work but did find it rather stupid because for one he doesn't need to do my job that's why I'm there and 2 he could of asked someone else to take over until I get in, again it's just more stupid things he does. Before he went as always he of course gave me some ridiculous pointless extra job to do. I also heard apparently someone walked out on the job this morning, I reckon my boss must of upset the lady and since the place is closing anyway she decided she's had enough of it all, shame really as she might of been able to get a position somewhere else, she is also a really nice older lady have known her for years now so very sad. After work I have been taking the longer way home, and while I wanted to take the extra long way home I needed to get in a few things so went shopping but I still took a littler detour to get in some extra steps. Anyway the point is with these lockdowns regardless of still working during them I noticed some personal weight gain, and so I have continued to try and shed some of the weight off with small daily workouts and step counting. I began doing this in April and will continue to do so until my work schedule won't allow for it anymore. But pleased to notice the weight is shifting, this firstly started around the beginning of May and then once again in July. Towards the end of July and August others began to notice my weight lost so it definitely does take time. My goal was not to tell anybody until they mentioned it first, like that I would know for sure it's a truthful comment. While the fat is once again being stubborn to burn away I think it's time to admit to myself that there as definitely been some good progress, even had some muscle gain. I think I'm about %60 of the way to where I want to be, so very pleased. For the workout I done one today and yesterday making it 5 in a row, yesterday and todays felt abit easier even with the heat. I'm not seeing much of a difference lately perhaps another of those stumbling blocks were you just have to keep at it. As for steps we started the week good and so having reached a total today of 35k steps out of the 105k weekly target.

There are around 486 Quad Dolphin accounts, and so all together we hold like nearly 10mil, you going to join us or what? We will of course continue to collect and lock-up even more STEEM!
