Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 28/2/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Feb 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on Jan 20th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also being tired from the previous early work shifts. The past few nights are still a later time than what I would want to be asleep by, and while I'm not napping during the day anymore "unless unwell" like now, it's still best to strive for a healthy amount of sleep. When I did try to sleep there was a bit of problem due to it being cold. I woke-up 20 minutes to my scheduled alarm, I'm not sure why perhaps cold. Our "cat alarm clock" as been mostly outdoors the past week, unfortunately until recently he as began mewing again during the night, almost similar to when he initially stayed with us which he was being very loud. This is not great for me due to these early morning shifts, he stayed indoors last night but was quiet until the early morning. He's been getting into some more serious fights lately but still insists on being out most of the time argh. These early mornings are usually a struggle to wake-up for and this morning was no different. For the weather it was dark, the sky was cloudy, temperature wise it was cold. It was another early start for me, not by choice but because I had to be in work very soon, and so there was no time for chores. With my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it was a much brighter morning than usual, however not enough to catch the sun rise or turn the cold down, well I could see the sun rise about to start I was just about to miss it, traffic was very busy. When I got to work it was the fat superior who I would be working with this morning which is great. On arrival was also the colleague who set's up task2 and so the superior got busy with that straight away. Because we are doing the "first to arrive" type of shifts I begin by checking the fire doors every morning, next I get started with tasks1 out of 3, sometimes this can be up to 4 on Sundays. For task1 there was about over half of the usual amount, which after yesterday it was nice to see but I just hope more work won't be sneakily added. Because I was still a little worried about that happening I kept a good pace of work but I'm sure it still happened once or twice where a little more was added. But it wasn't enough to cause me any problem, I was done a few minutes earlier so went straight to working on task2. Checking over the system task2 was about the usual amount which was good to see after the past few days being inflated. Like this I was able to take task2 easy except for the end where I started to rush a bit plus there were a few mistakes to sort between me and the superior which were not my fault. I thought that would of taken longer and so while he went to sort out the issues that I explained with some phone calls I moved to task3. I was not worried at all but I should of been a little worried because task3 lately as not exactly been kind to me, but today I guess it was making up for it with a pitiful amount of work. However while working through task3 I had a lot of regular work get in the way to the point it ate a lot of time, strangely I didn't mind it because I guess task3 was so pitiful. But all was well having finished with still many minutes left. I checked to see if I had any pointless weekly tasks to get done. I have 2 for the week both pointless😁, but both now are completed and I was not going to get the ones assigned to others done. I can say it was a good shift I still felt a bit unwell, so I was glad when it came time for me to escape work😁. On the way home it was slightly brighter and temperatures a bit milder with the sun trying to push through, but before going home I headed to the supermarket. I was checking to see if they had any of the things recommended to me which I was sure they had and why I decided to make another visit. I saw the lady there again who is normally restocking supplies but she didn't see me as she was still a few isles away since I did get there a little earlier. Once I arrived home I got started with chores, I want to continue with the kitchen, fighting some of the mold trying to settle on the walls. Unfortunately there was again not the time for doing these things, mostly because like previous days since getting this flu "for real now" I spent most of my time sleeping today it was very broken sleep. For the quick work-outs it's been 83 days since my last one but it's going to have to keep waiting longer because of what I think is the flu continually trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Community Curators Application application for March is now open, also the tag #curatorapplication is great for those wanting to build games and apps with Steem. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
