Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 31/5/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.

May 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on May 21th and so the high season isn't done just yet thankfully. Likely you have already witnessed recently some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate. So who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However that does mean that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors💰. Last night I went to sleep just under the usual late hour, usually this is disappointing but since lately I have been going way past that I was happy to go earlier. Still this mostly happened because of a late finish with dinner putting me behind on the last remaining things I was finishing. When I did try to sleep it thankfully didn't take me as long to drift off, this was even quicker than yesterday. Like the past few nights the cold was a problem, infact last night was even colder but I was already prepared for it. I guess the recent rain we had lowered the temperature enough that it's chilly again. When I did fall asleep I woke-up way before my alarm but this was not a problem as I was still able to get some rest. I then woke-up to the scheduled alarm which was set for later than usual so that I got sufficient sleep, I also continued to rest past the alarm for a little longer. As for the weather this morning it's another miserable dark cloudy morning, unlike yesterday so far there as been no rain. They told us on the forecast that once that remaining dull weather passed that it would be 3 months of solid heatwaves, well it was to no surprise that their story as changed to "it will only happen next month". Still I have little confidence in that statement as the weather is very dynamic around here. It was a late start to the day but this was not much of a problem as I didn't have to be in for work until later and so giving me a chance to get some basic chores done. Before leaving I had a quick but small breakfast and then changed for work. On the way to work yesterday I was suppose to take the rubbish out to dispose but forgot oopps, thankfully today I remembered to do this but I still have more that needs to go. It honestly seemed like a winters day out except it wasn't cold that's even with all the wind picking-up and I think I just about missed the rain. When I got to work I asked the superior who was in if there was a ton of extra work, he strangely said it was just a little more than usual. The reason why I found this strange was because my boss had messaged me earlier saying he would need me to stay. I also saw another guy who seemed to be extra for later and overheard the superiors talking about how he would be used for the extra work later. With that I went to have a look at the stats after my boss had left, looking over them it didn't look like there was all that much. I should of done more with the weekly tasks before the extra work was ready but it was one of those days. I was thinking how my colleague who had been doing he's training "so that he is able to get the extra work set-up for us" as finally admitted how difficult the work is and how he should be getting more help. I said to him I "Told you no sugar 🍭 coating from me" He proceeded to tell me all the "work arounds" that he come up with that the company should follow and change to make it easier. Most of what he explained to me were things we have all been saying and thought of for years, but of course nothing ever changes so he is wasting his time. I didn't get around to asking him but I do wonder if he will quit wanting to have anything to do with that part that job. The new superior who had been previously ignoring me for most of his time here training finally decided to take notice of me because I saved his ass from getting into potential trouble with my boss for a few mistakes that he made during a very short period of time. Mostly all I see this guy doing is checking he's phone and walking around back and forth, however I do admit he's been actually working well for most of this week but I also haven't seen him the past 2 work days. But he does keep getting distracted now by one of the girls here, that's even right after his partner came in with he's kid for a quick visit to see where he was training at lol. When we started with the extra work I didn't feel like there was enough there to have to rush it, and I guess what proved this fact was that at one point with about 1 hour and half left I was apparently allowed to go home. As I left work I asked me colleagues if they thought they would be able to get in done? To which they all assured me it shouldn't be a problem and so I left. I still need to look into that memory card for my phone which I hope will be compatible. The plan is to carry some music and perhaps a few movies if possible for any trips I may have to make. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the value of Steem I still believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on creating better content but rather on how the site and the token is valued. Again not by it's content but instead by holding Steem, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point of having alpha testers. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
