Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 5/2/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.
There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.
I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Feb 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on Jan 20th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also being tired from the previous early shifts. The past few nights are still a later time than what I would want to be asleep by as sometimes I still feel too tired to not nap during the day. When I did try to sleep the cold made it initially a little difficult, puzzling considering I have a duvet with the highest tog rating. I woke-up hours to my scheduled alarm, this was due to trouble regulating my temperature either being too hot or cold. Our "cat alarm clock" seems to no longer make noise during the night to be let out, he waits until someone is up to let him out. Lately he spends most nights indoors and he's mood as improved. These early mornings are usually a struggle to wake-up for and this morning was no different. For the weather it was dark, the sky was clear, temperature wise it was cold from the beginning. It was another early start for me, not by choice but because I had to be in work very soon, and so there was no time for chores or anything else. I done what I could, and with my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work I took the rubbish with me to dispose, it was actually not that cold. The sky was very clear it was enough that for once I could see the beginning of the sun rising, it was also brighter than usual, traffic was not too bad. When I got to work it was my boss who was working with me, which I was happy about. No sign of the cleaner or the task2 person, I checked the fire doors before getting started with task1 and was happy to see it was just under the amount I would expect but more than what I have been getting lately. Like this there was no need to rush and I still finished with 10 minutes spare. I went straight to task2, I have no idea when my boss set-it as it just magically appeared, it was just a little more than usual but really nothing to worry about, I went over time by just 3 minutes which is not a problem. This was especially true with task3 being such a pitiful amount, while I kind of expected there not to be a lot I didn't think it could be this easy. I didn't have to rush and likely had about 25 minutes spare. I checked to see if I had any pointless weekly tasks to get done and honestly hoped to not find any silly ones like ones like "ask for one". The stupidity that I find in that is it's the leaderships job here to tell us if there are things that need to be done, not have us search for them and then beg for them to find us something pointless to do. I already have a job to do "thank you very much" that's why I'm already here in the first place!! Regardless I had a weekly task to get done which is honestly difficult to get done properly with the time given, so since I done todays task yesterday I can split this one in two. It was mostly a good shift and before leaving I got the chance to speak with my boss about taking time off work for the event with friends later in the year. He confirmed I could already place the dates I need, that good news "well if they are still available", still I was glad when it came time for me to escape work😁. On the way home it was brighter, the sky was clear offering a nice blue sky with a good amount of sunshine which is exactly what I hoped for. Once I arrived home I got started with chores, I wanted to continue with the bathroom, fighting some of the mold trying to settle initially on the ceiling, this was dealt with yesterday but I want to make sure to work on the walls. I met with friends online late, they all showed up and we got past the section I was panicking about pretty easily to the point it made me look bad. For the quick work-outs it's been 65 days since my last one but it's going to have to keep waiting longer because of what I think is the flu continually trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner and then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Community Curators for February arrived the winners were announced. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
