I'm always on the go, and often I miss some important comments or updates because there is no steemit App for iOS available to download yet (Steemy, when are you ready?) and I don't always have time to check on my laptop.
After I had already developed a design proposal for a Steemit iOS App with Sandro, the head designer from my marketing agency WeCare4U, we have now decided to create a design proposal for an iWatch App as well.
We have to prepare ourselves for the future, and smart watches are being used more and more!
The app would have push notifications that notify you when someone has commented or upvoted your post, and you'll also be able to see how much money your post has earned immediately.
Of course, you can also just browse through posts or your own profile on steemit. We also think that a "Read later" option would be helpful, because I personally often see interesting posts but don't have the time to read them at that moment.
I would hate to miss some important comments or upvotes from my fellow Steemians, so I think a way to get notifications on the go is ideal.

I wish this was real already!! I got an apple watch last christmas but I rarely use it, and this would be a real reason to use it everyday!! I'm addicted to Steemit so I would be on my watch 24/7 :D

Do you think a fingerprint scanner could allow a user to open a certain app and flick their finger in a certain direction to send money steem steem dollars etc to a dedicated exchange? The biggest problem for me is the fear of writing the wrong address and sending $1,000 to the wrong person.
Maybe a way to verify that your account is the one you are sending to or only allow swipe transactions to go to a certain bank account/exchange? I'd be happy to hash it out further on steemit chat when you have the time, but maybe you get the gist from my crazy train of thought / stream of consciousness commenting.

Those UI elements are way too small for the watch. I have the big one (my girlfriend has the smaller one) and even on mine they would be unreadable.
There's a reason all the native apps use 3x larger type than that. Also, touch targets need to be about a third of the screen at minimum to be useful. It's already really hard to type in the unlock passcode accurately and that is a 4x3 grid. That hamburger button in the corner would be unusable. :/
