Being new in Steemit, and believing in what it stands for and wanting to be a part of this, not only for possible financial gains, but also for future the content and possibilities. Steemit for me has the potential to be an invaluable platform for me. So this need to be a part has had to overcome a challenge.
Currently, my lifestyle is not conducive to slowing down and taking an hour out to contribute steemit, and truth be told, I have an attention spam of a gold fish when reading lengthy content most times, let alone in a hub of a casual office environment with a lot energy.
What was I writing?
So I have had to adapt using technology to hopefully optimise my time. I can do a number of different activities that are usually, not only un-enjoyable but can assist me with learning or reading, or educating myself on interests simply by using technology. Tasks like driving, washing dishes, waiting in a queue, stuck in traffic, on the train, on the bus, on a walk, and at the gym (yea right), can all be accompanied by a headset and your cellphone playing videos, audio books, and as of today, my phone reads out posts on Steemit!
Been using it for a day or so and it's good. Pretty much can read any steemit post. I haven't gone in depth with regards to replies etc, but there are some real monster articles that I want to get stuck into asap.
Basically browse to the steemit post, click on the browser settings menu, share, select the @voice app, sit back, and enjoy your steemit curation read to you.
Yea sure, the voices aren't Kate Winslet reading some children's book, but it's bearable, and free, with ads, but your not looking at it are you? No. You're not. Your washing dishes.
So that's my share with a long explanation, and it's for @aslammotala, who I know is going to hate me because I haven't found him an apple equivalent. So please, if anyone has the same thing but for the apple store, please reply with suggestion.
PS: this review (never expected it to turn out like one, but just in case the thought police don't like this), was based just on a galaxy note 4, android 6. No root, or anything like that. Should work fine on most devices. Got good ratings.
