Steemit hits 800,000 accounts!!

According to Steemdata.com Steemit just hit 800,000 accounts!

Now obviously we are getting closer to 1 million users on Steemit everyday, and as I mentioned in my previous post Over 20,000 new Steemit accounts created yesterday..

We seem to now be following a similar growth pattern as Facebook!

1 million — End of 2004.
5.5 million — End of 2005.
12 million — End of 2006.
20 million — April 2007.
50 million — October 2007.
100 million — August 2008.
250 million — July 2009.
500 million — July 2010.
750 million — July 2011.
1.01 billion — September 2012.

With 20k new users one day, and then 15k new users the next..

We definitely seem to be gaining more "STEEM" everyday!

Dtube will be a major driver of new signups to Steemit. When think how many millions of Youtubers will probably migrate to Dtube in the coming years, my head starts spinning in a good way ;-)
