Yes part of this video was directed towards a certain comment, but I have been trying bring awareness to the fact that we need to determine if we want to be known as just a blogging site or as the "Next Big Thing" which like Facebook.. Most people aren't just "blogging" on there!

So "what pisses me off" is that I have been trying to get people to support new types of content like music and art and everything in between but it goes to a deaf ear..

Well said man!

I understand what you are saying. I think this will change as more people join.

Let's hope so.. which is why I'm waiting.
I see too many people spending a lot of time and effort and only getting like .05 cents.. why would they want to post it now when they can wait until more people are on here that will support it.

Understandable we want Steemit to be much more then just a blogging site, We want to be the next Twitter or Facebook. What blogging site do you know of that is worth $300 Billion like Facebook??? A Facebook Style site would bring much more value then just another blogging site. I am not a good blogger either.

I understand what you are saying. It also can be annoying when people misinterpret what you are saying and then say you said something you did not. There does seem to be a generic blog format that lots of people follow here in order to make money. I like outside the box style and not conforming, but it appears that Steemit incentivizes conforming.
