After I sold my stocks and precious metals I realized that I still had one potentially solid investment - Steem Power. The last threshhold of wealth, the last still haven with ensured interest - the saviour in my current economic state.
Many are afraid of power down process as they believe that as soon as they press the power down button the steem power's constant growth will stop. It will not. I have delayed the start of power down for quite long and finally pressed the charming button when I badly needed some money - therefore I lost quite much with my not doing the action earlier.
No matter if you have just a couple hundreds steem power or some thousands - the sum will be constantly growing and the share you'll get in Steem weekly will get bigger and bigger.
I'd like to illustrate this on my own account. I get something like 1 steem power every hour (owning 4,470 steem power at the moment) and when I launched the process for three weeks ago I had something like 3,950 steem power. The very first power down granted me 38 steem, the second - 41 steem and the third is to happen some hours from now.
I must say that I am extremely thankful to the system that made me save up. In the very beginning it seemed a bit frustrating that I couldn't withdraw the whole sum earned though now I see that this was a necessary elememt for the stability of the system and the welfare of its members. Even if a successful blogger is forgotten for some reason or simply decided to change the activity - they will always get some money as long as the system exists.
Win-win on Steemit is not a utopian formila - this is something lying in the background of the platform. The users are not considered to be milch cows ensuring the prosperity of the created currencies; we're partners and the conditions of this partnership are beneficial for both sides.
Live long, Steemit!

You sold your precious inflatable metals for steem power, a inflatable currency, that is crashing...

Oh, man. You didn't quite get the topic. I haven't sold stocks and metals to buy steem power - I had to sell them to repair my car and so the steem power (half of the sum earned through blogging only) is my only investment for the time being.
Please, be a more accurate reader in the future so that you don't confuse other readers:)

steem did not make you save. The currency has been on an exponential downtrend. In reality you lost money due to its crash despite that it inflates.

And although steem power gains interest this may very well be why it's crashing. Your spreading crap and horrible financial advice.
