6 Tips for Newbies on Steemit to Grow Fast

Once again here to share some important tips which will be helpful for newbies who joined steemit recently. Steemit is a platform where original content is promoted and rewarded so keep the following tips in mind to become successful on this lovely platform.

1- First of all you should post your introduction with a selfie holding handwritten username on a paper, so it may be verified that you are the original user. Most new steemians start posting right away which don't make a good impact over their profile or blog. If you want to grow fast on this platform you may start steadily by observing the methods of successful steemit bloggers. Most of fast growing bloggers started with a username holding selfie.

2- In very first days of blogging on steemit don't post frequently because the number of posts will not make you popular but the quality do. If you will create the genuine content which is in demand you will grow fast. But if you try to post every 10 minutes or every 30 minutes, there will be surely quality compromise. So make quality posts, don't copy paste the material. Choose such topics which are in demand and try to help-out people with your posts.

3- Try to upvote the quality content. Most of newbies start upvoting every post to grab curation rewards. Its not as easy as it seems. There is a special algorithm on blockchain that decides rewards according to the content quality. So try to upvote, Resteem and comment quality content it will be beneficial for you in long run.

4- When you start posting, try to select 100% SP for your posts. That can be selected when you submit a story in rewards section under the tags portion. The more power you gain more influence you have in the community.

5- When you use other's material e.g. image link ensure to give credits to the original owner even the material may not be copyrighted. It will make good impact over you reputation.

6- Last but most important one is to use only relevant tags in your post. Using relevant tags will improve visibility of your posts. On other hand if you use irrelevant tags there are more chances to get flagged. So if you post is about "Health" use related tags to health. Like Health Tips, Healthy, Fitness etc.
