Hello all steemians,

Few days ago there is a poll by @steemitblog asking for downvote option And people support this option to implement on steem.

I am totally agree on this move and just want to share my own thoughts on Downvote.

Downvotes are very important part of Steemit ecosystem if upvoting can increase the value of your post then in opposite to that downvotes have power to decrease the value of post if it has some value before that.

So I am suggesting Steemit to shift this downvote button little away from upvote button. Because it can affect the value of post if somebody mistakenly clicked on that button.

So there are some suggestions by me to steemit if they consider it would be better.

1. shift the downvote button to opposite site.

It would visible and would be more safe for content creator some time it can happen that people click downvote button by mistakenly and it would be not ok for creators. So this will be one option.

1. shifting the button to middle

This is my favourite option to shift this button to middle this also looks different from other social media platforms and would look cool. And it is also more safe for creators.
