"The Biggest Whales of Steemit" Portrait (Result of 10 hours of my work)

in steemit •  8 years ago

Hi, Steemers: Whales, Dolphins and Little Fishies!
Hi, @dan and @ned!
You do so much for us, guys. And this picture is my gratitude for you.

I can not say that draw this picture has been easy. I had only two photos in low quality and resolution. And all that I have found is just an interview, and in fact, it is desirable to know the identity of the person. After all, the portrait must transmit character person.
Important detail is the eyes... Guys have a not simple sights, and it was a test for me...
Drawing took about ten hours. One part was drawed at night, second part - at day time. I had to turn off phones and skype, that nobody bothered me. I always do like that. And I hope you like this portrait.
You can judge result of my work :)

Usually I say: "Every child deserve to be drawed."
Now I want to tell: "Every Steemer deserve to be drawed too" :)

You have incredible talent! Thank you for sharing this. I think if I had ateempted to draw @ned and @dan, they would have wound up flagging my post for unnecessary ugliness .

I'd advise you to offer your services to other members for a certain amount of steem dollars. (If that would be lucrative to you)

Also I love seeing the in between photos as it helps me visualize how the artwork was all put together.

Thanks! Nice words, thanks a lot. At this moment I think: what I will do next :)

I haven't had a beard in years. Nice work.

Creative idea.
Is there a way to check whether OP is done this way?

all the lines and the inclinations coincide on 100 %. I Copied and enlarged - don't see the strokes

Nice portraits... these are attractive men just like Dolph Lundgren, who I just invested in his DolphCoin!

I was planning on doing this too! Great portraits :)

Thanks, you opinion important for me, @kaylinart

Left portrait is the best of the best!

You do make Ned look like a Hollywood star @summonerrk!

but he is really handsome :)

Thats why his portrait was more hard to draw

Nice Sketches.

Thanks, @karbonxx

How did you post the image?

That is insanely beautiful. I showed that to my mom, she also draws. She loved it a lot. I believe you are a great and talented artist, keep it up. Such work has to be very much rewarded. I hope it will.

Thanks a lot! Every opinion of other artist is very important for me!

Thank you. When I draw - I dont feel that so much time wasted on it. Its feeling like time stopes for me :)

By the way: Your last post is amaizing.

wow looks awesome! :O my drawing skills aren't even at 5% of that, haha.

After some time and practice you will draw like me, or better, im sure
Thanks :)

That is really great work. I'm sure if you want higher resolution photos Ned and Dan might provide them after seeing this.

Yes, im think so too.
But i hope this time my imagination create all details correctly :)

Way to go and this just shows what Steemit is all about. It's about giving without knowing if you'll get anything in return. Great sketches you're quite talented. Keep Steemin my friend.....

Thanks a lot!

Beautiful work!

@smooth, your opinion is very important for me :)

Nice work!

Thank you, @gardenlady :)

I hope we will seen your picture more! Right?

No doubt :)

Hello @summonnerrk can you draw me too?

If you have photo inside your introduce, someday i think i will do that

You creative bastard. :p

Im not a Snow actually

I am lol

Winter is coming!

Good job. But may I ask how many shades of graphite are you using?

Remember every image is defined by its darkest darks and it's lightest lights! If you pushed a 6b pencil into the dark portions of your shades here and use a small sharp mechanical eraser for your highlights you will notice your portraits pop more out of the paper with life!

Only one shade this time.
Thank you, and for advice too

That looks soo cool!! well done, a lot of detail and you are very talented!! :)))

Thanks :)

Yes, it's just awesome!!!

oh, thanks :)

Well done @summonerrk

Thank you :)

Damn I want a beard too!

This is a very life like drawing, my son is also an artist so I appreciate the effort going into something like this. I also just want to thank you for following me. I hope you like my new post too.
