Each sign-up requires a new email and a new phone number. I want multiple accounts for different topics. How does someone do that with just one phone number?
Wait a minute, phone numberr? I think the email is just to prevent spam but I never needed a phone number to sign up to Steemit but then again I haven't made multiple accounts.
i think in the past it didnt require fone number cos i didnt need fone number but the person i invited to it recently, needed phone number verification
It may be an automatic security check because you're trying to make a second account, they probably want to verify you, do you know if you had to enter in the phone number the first time?
When I signed up I had to do it with my FB account, I think now they are requesting a phone number, but there is a good reason for this. I understand you can purchase an account if you don't have the information to get another in exchange.
