If like so many others on the Steemit platform, you are struggling to get your work noticed or not getting enough from your work, there is a way to make Steemit work for you.

Smart Steem could be described as a one stop shop to help improve your income and to help towards your content getting noticed, eventually leading to natural traffic and upvotes.

It is very easy to Sign up to the site. Simply click on the ''Login'' box located in the top right corner of the main page HERE. The site uses Steem connect to connect your Steemit account to your soon to be Smart Steem one. You will need to have your Steemit username and Key/Password in order to sign up. Follow the on screen instructions. And that's it. All ready to go.

@SmartSteem also have a Whitelisted portion to there system.
Whitelisted is like a VIP section with only a select few being whitelisted from a single star to 3 stars. To get whitelisted. Go to your profile by clicking on your profile image in the top right corner of the main site page. And click on 'Get Whitelisted'. You should now see a blank box that asks you why you should be whitelisted. In here I would suggest you specify who you are, what it is you are doing in terms of your blog posts and what you want to achieve with your blog in the future.
After you submit to be whitelisted, your profile will say pending. Once you have been accepted it will change to either being denied to having 1 to 3 stars.

The system is fairly simple and it has 3 different aspects.

1 – Bid-Bot.

There are plenty of Bid-Bots on the Steemit platform, but as a whole package, this one is by far one of the better ones available.
To bid, all you simply have to do is send a minimum of 0.50 SBD or Steem Power to @Smartsteem with a link to your post in the memo. That's it. Every 2.4 hours the bid opens up again.

2 – Sell Your Votes.

In this section you can let @SmartSteem use your voting power to upvote other users and you can earn up to 85% of the profit made from your vote. This would leave @SmartSteem with the remaining 15%.
So when you are not at your computer, you can make Steemit work for you, by letting @SmartSteem sell your votes for a 15% fee. And the system works 24/7. you have complete control over when you are paid and stop the bot if your voting power falls below whatever percentage you set it at. Plus you have the ability to opt out at any point.

3 – Buy Upvotes.

This is where @SmartSteem shines the most I think. You can buy votes for your blog posts. Most new posts that receive a lot of attention generally end up under the ''Hot'' tab on the Steemit site, and those that get a lot of attention over a few hours to a few days end up under ''Trending''. While many of us only dream that our content will get thousands in upvotes, the hard truth is that most posts go largely unnoticed. But there is a way to get some attention. If say you have just posted up a really good blog post. Well thought out. Well presented complete with sources, if you send @SmartMarket say $10, with the posts link in the memo, you could receive a $20 - $26 worth of upvotes on your post. This would put you into the ''Hot'' category of the Steemit site, giving your post more chance to be recognised by more people and not just your followers. Not only will you earn your money back, but you will earn a little extra too.
The Bot is very cleaver, if you send $10 but the bot only has $5 of available votes, you will be refunded $7.50. you can check how much vote value is available by visiting Smart Steems Site, scroll to the bottom and it will give you 3 values.

• Available Vote-Values for @SmartMarket – This is for everyone who want to use the system.
• Exclusive Vote-Values for @SmartMarket – This is for Whitlisted Members, Plus the previous value. (depending on how many stars you are)
• Total Voting Strength of @SmartMarket – This is how much all the @SmartSteem Members have at 100% voting power.

The system appears to update every few muntes or so, so if the voting power is low, give it a few moments, keep refreshing, and when it rises, you can go ahead and use the system. Neat huh?

It is a very good system and one that can help improve both the attention you could receive and profit from the times you are not on Steemit, making it work for you.
