Once the crypto derivitives markets go live institutional money will pour in. And I agree that the institutions will be able to flex their muscles more than the average user. But the benefits of owning BTC will still outweigh fiat in my opinion. I've also noticed the ambivalence towards the crypto space from people I've talked to that are seasoned investors. Their loss!
