I feel like alot of the problem is everyone knows there is not enough time to both surf Steemit AND read every single article, so why not add a read later option in? It seems obviously useful to me..
I look at websites like https://getpocket.com/ and all i see is a feature Steemit could really benefit from... there is so much content coming out everyday it's impossible to keep up with it. We need some sort of chrome plugins or whatever to save steem articles to a certain folders sort of like bookmarking but you can unbookmark it after you go through your "reading list" every now and then but can still upvote "obviously" quality longer content.
Otherwise everyone is going to post short and sweet opinion articles forever because lets face it, everyone skims lol.
Just an idea. Curious what everyone else thinks...
Also I'll leave you w/ this comic as food for thought as we go about our Steemit journeys! :p Just for fun lol.
I think steemshare can serve this purpose. https://steemit.com/steem/@originate/steemshare-com-the-dedicated-steem-post-list-organizer-and-discovery-platform

Look, I think same like you, but the Steemit idea is that you take your time to "Work" reading before to VoteUp.
In my case, I read very fast, conceptulizing the post and add to Favorite in Chrome.

A read later option is a great idea, and I'm sure that it's been thought of. Let's hope it gets added in the near future as an option.
