Steemit Jewellery

Steemit Jewellery

'cause it's important to accessorise.

I hope you guys love it!
I'm waiting on an order of silver to arrive so I thought I'd make a Steem Pendant, just for fun.

A Steemit treat for all you Steemit lovers. Tell me your thoughts!

P.S. I've tried to up the amount of energy & hours that I work lately, to get my jewellery business going & I have found myself addicted to Steemit. Hence the Steemit Pendant!! My lovely boyfriend @hadestraining suggested that maybe I should concentrate on my work & not spend too much time on Steemit & I believe he is right!

It's 10PM GMT here & I am logging out.

Until Tomorrow My Trusty Steem Pals!

Love,

Trixie Kiddo

Thank you Yanni :)

Very nice, what's the metal?
p.s you never really log out of Steemit, it's always on your mind (and phone at 2am). I haven't worked out how to shake the addiction yet, we may have to set up a Steemit rehab clinic if we get locked out of our accounts again.

It's Stirling silver

I'm learning silversmithing at the moment. I don't know if it's from one piece or if there is some soldering, but the finish is very good. I can't tell how it's done, so perfection!

Thank you! It's made entirely from Sterling Silver Square Wire. The outer circle was formed using a ring mandrel, I soldered it to the straight wire it's hanging from, then I used a triangular needle file to make a score on either side of the tips of the wire & bent the tips to create the 'Steem' - I soldered the scores to get rid of the small gap that was left, then it's all soldered to the outer circle :), filed, sanded down with various grades & polished using a Dremel - felt wheel & Tripoli. It's quite simple once you have a few techniques under your belt! I hope you enjoy silversmithing! It's so fun when you get into it! Let me know if you ever need any help - Although I'm sure your teacher knows better than myself - I just learn by experimenting with it really, also have a few good books!

Wow, thanks for the advice. I'll follow your work.

this should be official merchandise it's beautiful.

Thank you :) :)

I have made some steemit earrings with a 3d pen. Of course not so good looking like your pendant.
