Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    You can power down your SP, but you have to wait 104 weeks in order to dump all your SP
    (you weekly get ±1/104 of all your SP converted in STEEM)
