Well, to be fair, it was not over a year since HF19 was released, but it was 11 months ago. So we might see it being a whole year between the hardforks, unless they push it soon.

That’s close enough in my books! It is a little concerning there has been this many hardforks, but on the other hand it is pretty impressive it’s gone through this many and there haven’t been any major major mishaps

Yeah, there were a lot of hardforks in the first few months of Steem, but it has really slowed down these days. As far as I understand, the next hardfork will also include some nice updates that will make it much easier to change stuff on the blockchain without being able to ruin anything, so the safety of new updates in the future will be even better than it is now. We've already seen 19 hardforks without any problems, but that could easily change.
