First let me say, this is not a post meant to "toot my own horn"....sadly I am not flexible enough to do that.

I joined Steemit almost a month ago now and I read and studied a lot to learn all I could about this new Platform. In doing so I got very active in the Slack channel and now over at Steem.Chat. It didn't take long before people started asking me questions and I started giving out words of advise to other users who where thinking of quitting Steemit. Like my friend @klye who is now very successful and I hope I had a small role to play in that.

Now here is the point I am trying to make.

Everyone who has learned anything while on Steemit or Made Money on Steemit should be trying to actively help #newmembers and #strugglingmembers. It is not only the right thing to do, but it helps the Steemit Community as a whole and may even help you personally at some point.

There is room enough in the Steemit Universe for all different kinds of people, writers, thoughts and beliefs and by sharing our knowledge and help with others we grow as a community and maybe even will have an impact outside of Steemit as a result.

So I encourage all my followers, friends and fellow Steemians to help each other, be active in chat and help make this community the best Social Media Platform on Earth!

Thank you so much for motivating others to help each other. I am one who is needing your help for my Grandmother's medical procedure... by just upvoting and re-steeming the post link would be a great help for her.

Thank you and God bless your good heart.

At the beginning of the week I was feeling pretty defeated..
None of my articles were doing as well as I perceived they should.

@venuspcs kept supporting and promoting my work.
Telling me to keep trying. ...

I have an article nearly on the front page today.

Thanks Venus for believing in me and spreading the good word.

<3 KLYE

always good to read about success stories like this! i'm really happy for your continued rapid ascension to whale-dom, @klye! nice of you @venuspcs to be such an instrumental part of that. the camaraderie is very encouraging. i wish this kind of stories would be more widespread in the community

Glad I could help and keep up the awesome work, your drawings are hilarious and your posts are getting good.

Oh please, I really hope everyone would. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone in the community is experiencing all the benefits that Steemit has to offer? I didn't know there was a strugglingmembers tag, will definitely head on over there to join my kin.

I am trying to create it....lol!

count my help in adding to that! looks like i'll be a member of that subdivision for a while lol

There is so much to try to understand here but I can find most of the answers to my questions by doing a simple Google search. It's an evolving platform still in it's infancy but the Steemit developers have done a fantastic job so far.

The point he's making is entirely relevant. If it weren't for people supporting the newbies and struggling members, we'd never have any fresh content. It'd be the same people posting the same stuff all the time. Fresh blood is always a good thing. :)

Did you say fresh blood? I need some this crap i have in the cooler is starting to taste like iron!

More power to you, @venuspcs! I love every bit of this, especially how you took a variety of classic Steemit bits (a hook, a funny pic, a joke, a nod, a personal story, a positive message etc) and demonstrated how they can snap together to boost a piece of good advice. May you continue to inspire many, many others.

Is there a place steemit users can offer free services/help/coaching/etc. I sure there's inherant issues bound to pop up, but with the community being so positive and giving, seemed like it might be a useful thing...tying those willing to give time/help with those needing it?

Kinda how I felt on this steemit strategy guide where down in the comments I was able to give in depth suggestions to nenad-ristic.

Idk, just got me thinking. There are many things people want to just offer to help the community grow as a whole.
