MYSTERY BABYLON VS. ANCIENT BABYLON

Ancient Babylon is located in Iraq. There are many prophecies about a future Babylon referred to in Revelations as "mystery Babylon." Many have speculated where this new Babylon might be. Some have said it is in Iraq where the original Babylon was. Another state it is the Vatican in Rome based on one verse without taking into consideration the other 98% of prophecy that describes it. There is a number of Chapters that speak about Mystery Babylon. Isaiah in chapters 13,14,18 and 47 speak about it, Jeremiah chapters 50 and 51 as well as Revelation 17 and 18. These chapters describe many things about Babylon that were not true about Ancient Babylon that existed during the time these prophecies were written about in the Tanakh.

Here are just a few details the describe Mystery Babylon:

Is the lone super power of the world (Isaiah 47:5,8)
Is the most respected and envied around the world and yet at the same time is hated by the world. (Isaiah 18:2)
Babylon is called a lady and has the symbol of the Lady (Isa 47:7-9). "LIBERTY" on our money, and sits in the New York Harbor.
Babylon is a coastal nation and sits upon MANY WATERS (Jer 51:13).
The mother of Babylon has the symbol of the LION (Dan7:4; Eze 38:13; Jer 51:38; Psalms 17:12). United Kingdom of Britain's symbol is a Lion.
Babylon would grow to be the richest nation in the world (Rev 18:3, 7, 19, 23). USA
Babylon would have a huge seaport city within its borders (Rev 18:17). New York harbor is the biggest in the world.
The Great City Babylon is the home of a world government attempt (Rev 17:18). This can only be NEW YORK, where the United Nations sits.
Babylon destroys her own land, with pollution and waste (Isa 14:20, 18:2, 7).
Babylon is land quartered by mighty rivers (Isa 18:2).

These are only a few of the prophecies regarding the description of Mystery Babylon. In the book of Jeremiah there are rough 50 descriptions of Mystery Babylon and in John's book of Revelation, there are also over 50 descriptions. Some of those in the book of Revelation is taken from Isaiah and Jeremiah and others were beheld in visions.

Revelation 17:9 is the verse that everyone uses to claim that Babylon is the Vatican in Rome which sits upon seven hills. To say that, however, is to ignore all the other prophecies and descriptions given about Babylon. There is one other city that is built upon seven hills which a woman does sit on and is the center of sea trade and commerce. This city also sits upon many waters and the state has a city called Babylon which almost all sea commerce goes through. That city is New York City.

New York City is the home of the Statue of Liberty as we know her today. The sculpture of the statue Auguste Bartholdi was a Mason that belonged to the grande masonic lodge in Paris and at the time was looking for a commission to build a statue of the goddess of fertility Isis from Egyptian Mythology. The goddess Isis was known to the Babylonians as Ishtar. This fertility goddess was eventually adopted by the Romans who changed her name to Libertas or "Liberty" in English. Thus the statue of Liberty is indeed the statue of the pagan goddess of fertility Ishtar. The symbols of Ishtar is the bunny and the egg where we derive the holiday of Easter which is really a ritual to the pagan goddess. Ishtar is the goddess of fertility, love, and sex hence why she is referred to as the "whore of Babylon" by the ancient prophets.

New York City is the home of the Federal reserve system and the International Monetary Fund by which all other currency around the world is based upon. New York is also home of the United Nations Security Council where the Kings of the Earth gather. Merchants travel to "Babylon, New York" to trade with America day and night.

America is a singular nation made up of many states. It is the strongest nation in the world militarily and has been for many years. America destroys and pollutes its own land. America is a nation of many different religions. America is also a nation where the majority of the population has lost touch with their identity. America is also known for adultery by the phrase "Mixing pot of the world".

The United States of America pollutes its own lands, skies, and rivers with toxic waste and runoff from factories. America inflicts wounds upon itself and blames others for it. America boasts that it has never been invaded by a foreign army and will never be conquered. America sits upon many waters from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean and contains approximately 1/3rd of the worlds fresh water supply.

As you can see the only country in the entire world that fits the description of Mystery Babylon to the letter is the United States of America. It is the only country in the world the fulfills every single prophecy about it precisely.
