Day 15: Keeping The Steemit Focus (30 Days Of Steemit Success)

in steemit •  7 years ago  (edited)

Success on Steemit boils down to only two things. One of those is adding value and the other is staying focused and committed to your new favorite social media.

I have been delegated 1,000 SP to help new Steemonians find Steemit Success. Over the month of September I will be posting daily about different strategies, tips and tricks to help you become the best Steemoninan you can be. You can start at the beginning if you want.

30 Days Of Steemit Success

This is perfect timing for me to talk about the Steemit focus. Over the weekend, I had a family obligation that took me away from my computer and my time writing. It was out of my control, but at least once an hour I hated that I couldn't be on Steemit and continuing with this series.

It has been crazy in my world, but I learned something. I learned that my focus is truly on Steemit and I am dedicated to long-term success. I felt the urge and calling back to the blog. I didn't totally abandon it though. I took some time to outline the blogs for the rest of the this series. I even used a pen.

Steemit success really depends on how focused you are to adding value as often as you can. Things come up, I understand, but when you are in your daily routine, make time for Steemit.

The only real way to succeed is being as consistent as you possibly can. Stay active.

You don't have to devote 10 hours a day to the site, but at least an hour minimum if you can help it. Cut out one TV show or a half of football each week. Cut some things that don't add value to your life and switch that time to Steemit.

For me, the best way to stay focused is to remember how thankful I am for this opportunity. Steemit provides a platform where you can actually get paid to write and interact. It is great. It is a nice way to make some passive income and over time it could really be a big deal.

If Steemit and crypto continue to go up over time and eventually is $5 per STEEM, then the whole game changes. You could post a couple of blogs a day and make more than if you worked at McDonalds. It could radically change the lives of families where moms can blog at home and make enough to help the family without getting a job and dedicating more time to the family.

Another reason I try to stay focused are the people that believe in me. I really appreciate my followers and the people I've met on here and don't want to let them down. It takes all of us to help this place grow.

I believe in the long-term success of Steemit and I want to be a part of it. That is what keeps me focused... Without adding value and staying focused on your long-term success on Steemit, you won't make it more than a couple of months.

Today's Question

What keeps you focused on finding Steemit success?

The best comments will be 100% upvoted and added to the eBook for 30 Days of Steemit Success.

Thank you for reading Day 15: Keeping the Steemit Focus.  This blog is part of a project that @dragosroua and @alexvan are supporting. I am deeply appreciative of their support for my project. The 30 Days of Steemit Success will be a series of blogs posted daily on Steemit to help new Steemonians. All of the blogs will be put together to create an eBook that will be available for download in October for all Steemonians for free.

I will be posting two of these a day until I get caught up. Please forgive my absence over the weekend. It could not be helped.

To my followers, your support focuses my focus.

Great answer. Love it, even a little poetic.

I truly enjoy the efforts of many Steemians to create quality posts and my mission is to reward those posts.
Your post is interesting for me as i am fully engaged in Steemit although i will post max. once a week and try not to spend 1 hour a day, i like my offline live.
I invested in Steemit with a long view and trust that quality will finally prevail, we should really not be too much busy with making money now, we should all keep the rewards and only then we will see true growth that will make us much happier in the end.
In the meantime, i am always up for quality content, my favourite posts are curation posts were some posts are highlighted as worthy posts. Saves a lot of time :-) much love, you're doing good :-)

That is a great reply and you have a new follower and I'll be adding this to the book. I really appreciate the support. I'm trying my best despite a few hiccups this month that were totally unexpected.

My Steemit moments are usually the time before I sleep. A self-reflection time to think back what I gained and did today. From there, I find some small details to focus on that could become the theme for my writing. Thus, writing Steemit would be a review for me, killing two birds with one stone :)
And congratz for getting 50% done for the 30 Days of Steemit Success initiative @walkingkeys!

Thanks for the support and sharing the time you stay focused. I normally write near bedtime too, but I have found the days I write blogs earlier I tend to do better. I want to start my day with a blog, but I have to get rid of a client first that takes up my mornings. I appreciate the answer and wish you the best of luck.

Indeed, I also hope my night will be a less intense one with more reading then writing. So far, I tried writing in morning but my brain had yet to be activated. I think gonna take some time to try again and maybe add in different elements. Thanks for the suggestion!

Sorry to hear you had a rough few days. Family matters can be real tough. let us know if we can help.

What keeps me focused on steemit are all the great writers. I love to read. Writing takes time and effort, so I get to bounce around and read a lot. I also try to help the writers. Some of the stories need Tables of Contents, it can be a real pain in the ass sometimes to scroll back an entire year, and that's if you are able. Also I know there are a lot of people like me that enjoy reading, so as i find Authors I try and unite them with readers and vice-a-versa via my little steemmag. Its small now, but I have only been here day 47 or so. I know it takes time for things to grow, and I am patient.

It does take time and you have great way to keep you focused. You have a wonderful attitude and I know it will pay off for you.

Excellent, inspirational, informative, beautiful post. Upvote & ReSteem & Start following you.

Thank you for the kind words.

Good post
