#SteemitGives 001 - How To Use Steemit To Help People In Need

in steemit •  8 years ago

Steemit is a lot of fun and we can all make some money on here, but we can do more than that. There are a lot of people that need help in this world and the #SteemitGives blogs that I am starting will highlight different opportunities to help people either in our digital community or using Steemit to help people in real life.

The first thing I am promoting is something I am doing to raise money to go buy food to take to my local Food Bank.

How can you help? Go HERE and upvote. For every 10 upvotes I will buy and additional 5 cans of food to take to the Food Bank. I am going to record what I do and post the video on Steemit so people can see the impact they had.

Another way you can help is by supporting members in our Steemit community that have fallen on hard times.

Help a Steemonian who is losing his job and whose car broke down.

Help a young woman who has cancer.

Please note, that the above people posted that they are in need, please make your own judgmenet on the validity of the request and if you want to help. I'm just helping spread the word.

Just remember to help where you can and when you can. If you do so, you can help make this world a better place.  If you know of anyone in need or anyone that is using Steemit to help people, please reply and let me know about what they are doing for the next blog.

I hope you like this. Remember to be the change you want to see in the world.

You don't have to pull out the big bucks, sometimes a simple upvote can help.
