I'm back on Steemit after a 15 days gap and been trying to reply to all the comments. I see that I'm not even able to post a comment. It shows transaction broadcast error, 504 Gateway timeout, TypeError: Network request failed, keeps loading forever or page doesn't open at all.
Not only that, even upvote isn't working for me. When I upvote somebody, it keeps loading forever.
I know for a fact that it is not my internet connection that is the culprit as all other sites load perfectly fine.
All this is just repelling me from posting on Steemit.
I also noticed that most whales started delegating to bots for their own profit.
What's gonna happen to this platform when everyone starts doing it?
Everyone will have to start buying their own votes and there will be no value for all the efforts that's gone into creating the post.
Ultimately there will only be shitty content because efforts are not rewarded anyways.
The platform would go in the direction opposite to what was originally intended to be.
Anyways, don't let my rant make you lose hope. Let's see where this place is headed. There should always be good and bad days to keep balance. Atleast that's what I believe. So, yeah! Good days might come soon, hopefully.
What are your views? Comment down below.
Cheers!
Edit: Even posting this is was a huge challenge. Tried more than 5 times on Steemit.com but couldn't post it. Posting this from developer website Steemitstage.com
I do not understand bots. I do not believe in bot system. It undervalues content and undermines interaction. .
I agree with you, @wandereronwheels. I really wish good content were truly valued . But you see, when money is involved, content suffers. It happened in the real world. It will happen in cryptoworld too. That is the way human brain is wired.
"Ultimately money and buying power and voting power will rule. Content is immaterial. It is like this - "the painting is of no value. The name of the artist sells. A big name can sell a blank canvas for millions ! " . :)
It is a good thing that there are good whales still around who value good content. Let us hope they grow in numbers :)

Yeah! True that. I'm just hoping that the few good whales don't give up.
And they say hard work pays off, so yea. :)

it is very very slow, and I got a lot of server error!
I went to https://chainbb.com that is a steem forum to get some help and I got that using steemstage.com is faster, and at least it works now
