This one question seems to be getting people to perk up. Instead of someone telling them they should join up, you're asking something that makes them think they're being left out.
I wonder what the result might be if more people did this.

I am new on steemit and still totally confused but I must say it fasinates me - I am not a writer - especially if I look at some of the posts, I did not even know I had to have a nickname, so the plain jane that I am I just ended up with my real name - so I am holding thumbs that this venture will pay off (out??) Pun intended hahaha.
I am amazed at how many people are getting on the steemit train and enjoying it and such friendly people

my friend @stellabelle shared your post on her facebook page and got a lot of responses, probably goosed some other folks to look into it at least. i've been sharing some of the posts from here to there so my friends can see some of what they're missing and also pointing out that the content originator makes money from it not zuckerberg and co 😉
