Upvote bots seem like a problem

I've seen a few posts with comments from bots, and even guides from users about how to get bots setup, doesn't this seem like something that shouldn't be allowed on Steemit? It kinda defeats the whole point of people being curators of the content on this site and relegates creators that don't use bots to the gutters.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
