I assume that when one posts in Steemit that the actual content of the post is not stored in the blockchain, but in a related ipfs swarm. That is, only the metadata for a post is stored on the block chain. Is it reasonable to assume that the information which IS stored in the blockchain includes the ipfs hashes for the content which is not?
Thanks!
IPFS is content-addressed, meaning quite good chances for recovering data (if it's seeded) so it'd be more than desired to keep that hash.
Idunno, however, but I really hope.
