Tulisan ini merupakan bentuk pemenuhan janji saya kepada Mbak @mariska.lubis saat meet-up Komunitas Steemit Jakarta tanggal 20 April 2018 yang lalu di @cangkir9. Awalnya saya merasa tidak perlu membuat tulisan seperti ini karena bisa disalah-artikan sebagai bentuk penonjolan diri, tapi Mbak Mariska punya pertimbangan lain bahwa tulisan introduce your-self seperti ini sangat diperlukan buat aktivitas kita di Steemit ke depannya.

Oke, langsung saja:

Halo kawan-kawan Steemian yang baik dan kreatif di seluruh dunia,

Perkenalkan nama saya Zaim Rofiqi. Saya asli Indonesia.... :D Hobi utama saya adalah membaca dan olahraga, dan juga sesekali fotografi. Selain itu, saya kebetulan juga suka menulis. Saya menulis puisi, cerpen, esai, dan skenario film. Saya juga suka menerjemahkan dan mengedit buku.

Berikut ini buku yang kebetulan telah saya tulis:

1. Lagu Cinta Para Pendosa (kumpulan puisi, 2009).
   

1. Matinya Seorang Atheis (kumpulan cerpen, 2011).
   

1. Seperti Mencintaimu (kumpulan puisi, 2014)
   

Skenario yang telah ditulis:

1.Film Bid’ah Cinta (Sutradara Nurman Hakim, 2017-2018)

Dan berikut ini beberapa buku yang telah saya terjemahkan:

1. Marxism and Literary Criticism, karya Terry Eagleton.
   

2. Four Essay on Liberty, karya Isaiah Berlin.
   

3. The Evolution of Right in Liberal Theory, karya Ian Shapiro.
   

4. The Greatest Show on Earth, karya Richard Dawkins.
   

TENTANG STEEMIT:

Saya pertama kali masuk Steemit pada awal April 2018—jadi masih newbie atau rookie. Begitu menjadi Steemian, saya langsung menyukai komunitas ini karena platformnya yang sangat demokratis dan transparan. Platform seperti ini sangat bagus dan sangat mendukung orang-orang kreatif. Kita tahu, di Indonesia, dan di banyak negara lain, penulis adalah salah satu pekerjaan yang kurang menjanjikan serta kurang mendapatkan apresiasi yang layak. Steemit berusaha untuk memberi wadah di mana ada apresiasi yang layak bagi karya-karya kita dan memungkinkan kita untuk terus menulis dan kreatif karena apa yang kita hasilkan dan kerjakan dengan sungguh-sungguh pasti akan mendapatkan hasilnya suatu saat nanti….

ENGLISH VERSION

This article is a form of fulfillment of my promise to Mbak @mariska.lubis when we met at the Jakarta Steemit Community meet-up on April 20, 2018 in @cangkir9. At first I feel no need to make a writing like this because it can be misinterpreted as a form of self-assertion, but Mbak Mariskan has another consideration that writing introduce-your-self post is necessary for our activities in Steemit in the future.

Okay, let’s go:

Hello my good and creative Steemian friends all around the world,

Let me introduce my-self. My name is Zaim Rofiqi. I come from Indonesia .... My main hobbies are reading and sports, as well as photography (I am still an amateur..:D). In addition, I accidentally also like to write. I write poetry, short stories, essays, and movie scenarios. I also like to translate and edit books.

Here are books I happened to write:

1. The Love Song of the Sinners (a collection of poems, 2009).
2. The Death of An Atheist (a collection of short stories, 2011).
3. Like I Love You (a collection of poems, 2014).

Scenario that has been written:

1. Bid'ah Cinta (Director: Nurman Hakim, 2017-2018)

And here are some of the books I've translated:

ABOUT STEEMIT:

I entered Steemit in early April 2018--so I am still a newbie or a rookie. Once I became a Steemian, I immediately liked this community because of its very democratic and transparent platform. This platform is very good and very supportive of creative people. We know, in Indonesia, and in many other countries, the author is one of the less promising jobs and lack of proper appreciations. Steemit strives to provide a container where there is a worthy appreciation for our works and allows us to continue writing and to be creative because what we produce and do earnestly will definitely get a result someday ....
