I know that schools have access to tools into which they can input a student's work to check it against a database (and maybe the internet?) to detect possible plagiarism. Do you think something that has been "spun" would still be detected by such a tool?
I have noticed some of these low-quality posts (especially with respect to grammar) on here as well. Is the best defense against this type of post simply down-voting, or is there anything else that can be done?

It is scary, the question is how to spot these fakers in the first place, if the AI based software solutions to spin text are getting more sophisticated.
