Ether: How to make the crypt diet yourself
You can create cryptry on your own computer - you call the mining. This is not only with Bitcoin, but also with Ether.
The three best known cryptic currencies are bitcoin, ethereum (ether) and ripple. The alternatives to Bitcoin are also referred to as old coins. The platform Ethereum works with the crypt diet Ether.
As with the production of Bitcoin, high-performance graphics cards from AMD and Nvidia are also used in the generation of ethers. You need the latest hardware with a fast graphics card for the calculation of the crypto.
Ethereum has many supporters. These include large companies such as J.P Morgan, Microsoft and Samsung. The Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA) summarizes the support of the individual participants and bundles them together. Ether will therefore have a future. How this affects the course can not be said exactly. The platform behind Ether offers more functions than Bitcoin, since it is easier to integrate exchanges and services.
As with Bitcoin, the computation of Ether requires the computer to run for a long time, ideally all day. Here you have to calculate, whether the expected revenues in the form of ether are not already consumed by the electricity costs. At a price of about 300 euros / ether you can expect to calculate about 0.01 ethers per day - you get about 5 euros / day.
These are, of course, very rough estimates, but show that one day you can not earn hundreds of Euros if only one computer is used.
Put on the right graphics card
The more ethers generated over Ethereum, the more difficult it becomes to generate more ethers because the algorithm is supposed to prevent the market from flooding. Bitcoin and Ethereum do not differ from each other.
In order to calculate future blocks for Ethereum, current graphics cards from AMD are mainly problematic. But AMD responds and offers new drivers. Nvidia graphics cards of the types 1060, 1070 and 1080 are also to cope with the DAG blocks to be calculated in the future.
However, users on the Internet should regularly inform themselves which graphics cards and drivers are currently best suited for the calculation of ethers. If new blocks are generated, other products can be the better choice within a few days. However, this also has an effect on the prices of the graphics cards, which fluctuate very sharply and increase immediately, if they are the ideal solution for the calculation.
Ethereum, like other cryptic currencies, also works in block-wise calculation. If the maximum amount of a block is reached, the algorithm switches the currency to the next block. Such a process is referred to as "DAG Epoch". With a change, the necessary computing power increases to produce new ethers. At Ethereum currently graphics cards from 6 GB memory are useful, more suitable are cards with 8 GB of memory.
Choose the right platform for mining
Many tools for calculating cryptic currencies are optimized for a currency, ie bitcoin or ether. There are also tools that work directly with a Mining Pool vendor, such as Minergate's Cryptocurrency GUI Miner and Mining Pool. The advantage of using Minergate is that you can use the software to calculate different cryptic currencies, including ethers.
Wallet and pool
As with Bitcoin, you also need a digital Wallet for the creation of Ether. The Wallet stores all the emitters you purchase or buy through stock exchanges. From the wallet, you can also pay with Ether or pay off Ether as a conventional currency. You can book a wallet from different suppliers, for example at Jaxx.
Jaxx also provides apps for various systems, including smartphones and tablets. Creating a wallets is free. To register, you will receive a sequence of words that you should remember. You only come with this set password to the ether in your wallet.
Your wallet gets an address. You will need this address for your mining tool. The ethers that the tool then creates are stored in the wallet.
Within the framework of the facility, you determine for which cryptic currencies you want to create the wallet. Jaxx can also create a wallet for Bitcoin.
After a few seconds, the wallet is available and displays the existing ethers and other cryptic currencies. In the wallet, you'll also see the address that you can use for the mining tool.
Of course, you can also place on any other provider, for example My Ether Wallet.
Pool, cloud mining or local mining
If you have created the foundation for the mining, you can determine whether you want to locally search for Ether on your computer or to calculate it together with other users in a pool ether. There are pools like Slush Pool. The pool is supported by most applications for the production of bitcoins, but it also has many other cryptic currencies, such as ethers.
All participants in a mining pool calculate ethers, which are divided between the participants. Slush Pool was the first mining pool for Bitcoin and is particularly suitable for beginners because the operator is very serious. Search the Internet for "Mining Pool", but you will find numerous other providers and various comparative pages. The market is dominated by Chinese mining companies such as DiscusFish / F2Pool. But also inside of mining tools are displayed many pools, to which you can log on.
If you want, the Mining can also be made via a cloud provider, for example Genesis Mining. Here you pay a money sum to get access to the cloud data centers of the provider. The ethers are then calculated in the data center. This saves you electricity costs, but you have to pay the provider.
Ethminer is also suitable for calculation. The tool is available free of charge for Windows, Linux and macOS X. Also, Geth is a tool for the mining of Ether.
