The artists' learning curve ↗

How are you today?

If you're an artist you might know this feeling if you create a picture and think "Yeah that's soooo good, man!" and the next day you're like "What? how could I ever thought this is a good picture??". You suddenly start to see flaws and mistakes where nothing was before and everytime you start over it's getting more worse and you get more frustrated. You start hating your style, your art and you have no idea what is just happening. Why does everything you created looks suddenly like crap?

Would you be shocked if I would tell you that this is even a good sing? ( ⚆ ω ⚆ )

(ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻ "What the hell is she just talking about??"

Ok, ok... I'll explain it.
What's happening is a sign of your own improvement. You're visual ability has made progress but left your skill behind, your skill is still standing at the same point, while your visual ability went forward. You find yourself in some kind of a circle - it's a learning progress. And now what? What can you do now?
In my newest video on Youtube and DTube I explain how to get through this state and why you'll always be in this circle.

It's a tough phase and I know that it's not fun. But keep in mind that every and I really mean EVERY artist went through the same struggle again and again. The important thing is to know what you can do and not to give up bc you're on the right way to improve your skills to the next level!

Tell me your story - have you ever been in this struggle and what do you do to get out?
