I’ve had an excellent and hot week here. Think they said today was going feel like 100 degrees, and I would have to agree with them. Pool stayed at 95-97 degrees all week with the solar heating off. At least we were getting rain reducing any wild fires, and no fire burning ban. Looking forward to have a nice camp fire for 4th of July.
I hit milestone of 100 followers this week and continue to grow some. Did 5 blogs since start of the last campfire; don’t think I’ll keep that up for next week but we shall see. Finished most of what I wanted, and just one more to work on over the weekend. Joined some discord channels this week and had some fun in them.

Oh great, I love campfires!! In our ecovillage, we do all our cooking over fire every day; I think it tastes way better than appliance cooking, and it's lots more fun. Our chef just served today's dinner of sausages, sautéed onions/peppers/mushrooms, and a nice hot quinoa salad with lots of colorful veggies! It's pretty sweet to be able to focus on the areas I really love, and at the end of the day someone else has prepared a high vibe feast to share with me because that's what they love to do!

So company just left about an hour ago and we had a great time. I got the firepit going and we spent most of our visit outside. Hubby was working on grilling some potatoes (just a light coating of oil, then toss off to the side on the grill) and some chicken he'd had marinating since last night. Relaxing evening, good food, good conversation with cicadas singing in the background. Time well spent!

Better question is: who’s going fire the first one? Usually we have a third party called Fire Ban in Effect. This year he did not self-invite himself. I’m predicting Monday 3 am. Naturally, I prefer to still have friends after this so I’ll wait till at least Tuesday 10pm. As far as the winner we leave that up to the fire department to determine that.

Hello there and good morning Barry and Steemites, hope everyone is have a great weekend. Mine pretty much just started. Worked yesterday and that made 64 hours just at the one job, so its been a hectic week and Im having a well deserved steak dinner tonight. I just got out a blog this morning and have two to get out, one another poem and the other not to give away will defiantly be interesting... Just to touch on, my money has been down since the fork though with more followers and comments, so not to extactic about that. Any others care to add to their expericences since than? Well I have a million and one things to do so in short, everyone have a great rest your weekends. Have something in the works for you Barry that I believe you'll enjoy. Till the next time my friend.

Enjoy the rest of your days off! As far as payouts being lower; markets did bleed out all that money. Everyone voting power being worth more, and having fewer votes caused people to rethink how they use upvotes. Minnows like me don’t have a voting slider so I’m very picky about where my few upvotes I have go. While, trying to stay at or above 80% voting power.
Then there are just the people who auto spam follow everyone. More followers is not always more eyeballs on what you blog about. Accounts that are rather inactive I see still grow every day, and some of them have over 75 followers. You might think that’s not a lot but they joined in June like I did. I recently went into my own following list, and removed a few for being spammers either in blogs with zero content, or resteem 50+ a week type of accounts among other reasons. Such things where preventing me from even seeing much. Some of these people where flooding my feed with 20+ items a day.
Then you have things like the warmer weather. People are not currently trapped in their homes from a blizzard. Some are out enjoying beaches, camping, and just being away from electronics in the first place. As a result, some are just spending less time on Steemit.
I’m not a daily blogger so I lose one to five people a day. At same time, I can gain just as many. When I look into them some of them follow so many people my random blog here or there has a low chance in being seen in the flood called their feed. Since people no longer want to go below 80% or 60% depending on how they view things. My number of organic upvotes has dropped dramatically. Most notability in comments, and I expect it to remain this way till some changes are made.

I have been telling people the sorries, lately, the last few weeks, it has been getting harder and harder to visit my friends other blogs here, so I apologize.
I am not sure about all the drops, bur everyone is noticing -- except the same people who usually always make the trending pages, no matter what or how many things they post, so, basically the same issues as before.
